I'm far from the first to cover this song, but I've always loved it so much and felt like I'd like to give it my own spin. Like "Holding Out For A Hero" on last year's remix release, I look this new remix EP as an excuse to take the challenge!

The subdued instrumentals are a contrast to the original. The original is a fierce rock ballad, while this cover is more like a eulogy and has a more somber tone. I think the somber tone works here to create a really moving cover.

tl;dr Some bad people decided that violence was an appropriate response. The context is complex, but wanton violence is something I will never deem acceptable.

OG will always be iconic.
Tommy Vext and Bad Wolves did an amazing job, and even made it their own in a way.
But what I really love about this cover is that as far as I'm hearing, none of the lyrics have been altered. It's softness is very reminiscent to the OG, which is another thing I really love. Dolores would be proud. ❤
I never really paid attention to or really noticed the lyrics of the original song beyond the 'in your head' earworm; your slower, more somber take made me really listen to the lyrics and IMO gave them the weight and tone they deserved. Excellent work as always.
I grew up on the cranberries, so I had strong doubts about this cover as most, I find, don't do it justice, but this, I feel this does it justice. Does her justice.

Man aviators this was beautiful and a perfect song to add to the new EP Hymns of the dark!. Dolores O' Riordan would be so proud!!. Also love the Aeterno intro at the end of the song 🔥.
This song hits different during the war of their.
This version works so well. Especially alongside stuff like the Bleeding Sun saga of Aviators albums, with their stories of a war-torn world. It's so profoundly somber and that's what makes it so moving

I have never heard the original but God damn your voice and style gives this song life. The sense of sorrow that drips from your voice while you string the words together in a smooth fashion.
The rhyming words are excellently emphasized and the chorus gets deeper and a tad more gruff it's just art at its finest

I am so fucking happy i stumbled over your channel a few years ago. Every single one of your songs has a very special sound and you can always tell that it is one of yours if they are played somewhere. So far i have not heard a single song of yours i didn't like, and that is something very new to me because usually there are always some tracks that are not 100% on spot for most people. Your music is something very special in my eyes and i can't listen to a lot of it without a fitting atmosphere and mood because i want to actually listen to it instead of letting it play in the backround.
This cover is one of those songs. I will not listen to it on a regular basis, but it really is one of those songs i want to experience with 100% of my attention. Another great song in my book. Thank you for making music like this.
