Thanks for the video mate,i could find one eather. I will have a go at removing return pipe tomorrow.now i know how to do it. Regards Glen . Gold coast Australia
Change the o-rings on the injectors where the leak off pipes clip on. I had loads of issues with the leak off pipes blowing off the injectors or leaking, the o-rings hold the clips central, if they are damaged the clip can rock slightly which allows the retaining clips to jump over the lip that retains them. When I fitted the new o-rings they were softer than the old ones which had gone brittle and broke up when I was removing them. They are only pennies from Mercedes, don't buy eBay ones as a lot are not diesel resistant and will fail very quickly.
Got my fuel line off and ordered a new one as old one was just falling apart, brittle etc, how do you guys fit the new return line? I'm trying to fit it over the nozzle then clamp it down but it just doesn't click into place or anything, I don't want to put too much force on it, then break the part leading into the injector. Many thanks
@@oldscooler Appreciate the reply mate, thanks! Managed to get it sorted, once it was over the nozzle, I actually rotated the clamp slightly left and right etc, while pushing down to clamp it in place and finally it clicked and locked down. The plastic part of the injector where the nozzle is, is actually damaged on one of my injectors, is it possible to replace just that part of the injector, or are these injectors not able to be de-assembled? Many thanks for the help, Jordan

Any idea where to get the o-rings
@@UnderTheRadar1976 I'd go to Mercedes, I wouldn't bother with any aftermarket.
@@oldscooler I do that I have the same but I got a Volvo 🙄

Sounds like a good tip 👍 Thanks!

Just saw your message, sorry.
It sounds like they're not sitting down properly or fully. They're tricky and delicate. I'm sure you'll figure it out 👍
