I am struggling to work on my dive. I was taught to NEVER go on my knees when diving, but I have developed that habit. Any tips to fix that?

Practice without knee pads on the more you fall and realize it hurts you’ll teach yourself to stop, am I too late to reply 🥴

That is a good habit to have, your coaches were correct to teach you to not go to your knees.

I haven’t gotten any burns I did on my knees but my arms are perfectly fine but I would suggest getting elbow pads tho!

Never land on your knees! This is not good advice. The sheer force of this could actually cause the kneecap or the knee joint to fracture. Unfortunately, patellar fractures (fractures to the kneecap) are very serious injuries. In most cases, they will require surgery in order to heal.
