By far one or should I say two of the most impressive turbo jobs I have seen on Hondas. You get tons of respect Justin! This is awesome job that contains "zero" rice. So much horsepower, so much win!
could you do a vid to touch on how you did the AWD setup alot of what i find on the internet is he said she said, and it seams you know what works. maybe just tell all the parts needed and any custom fab that you had to do
Im glad you got the car back. Silly to sell a rare build. AWD conversions are hard to come by. My CRV is RT4WD and love what she puts down when i lauch at 8k. 70%less wheel spin. its awsome..
nice, cant wait to set one up down here in mexico. back at the track they only build up v8s. is rare to see a honda boosted out here. but keep up the good work. and posting up them helpful videos man. thanks
You must have a good feel for the wrenches! Some people got the knowledge, do everything in the right order but it just isn't right. Your motor's getting a thrashing a victorian grandad would be proud of and still ticking like a swiss watch! Well done mate!
Great videos, brother! Makes me excited to know that I can achieve GREAT power, without even taking the motor out, lol. I have a B20B bottom end, with a JDM B16A head/trans. Getting pretty tired of it's numbers, but with having a family, this seems much more cost effective than I was originally thinking. Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for making the video Justin. Had a turbo kit on my gsr and blew it in 2 day lol. Shit happens when you run untuned. But your video helped me put it back together in no time. But if you haven't. Would like to see a video on the awd setup
what size exhaust and what kinda can do you have on the teal hatch i like the way that sounds thanks plus you guys do a great job and very inspiring I am waiting on income taxes and I am gonna do kinda the same setup keep up the good work and videos
love the vids, I always learn something new from watching them! I want to learn how to build a Honda engine internally like you do. i just need some more tools and practice.
Beast video mad respect on the set up I'm doing a set up like your hatch with a 18c with a small greddy turbo trying to hit 400-450 whp, and wanted to know how you did the AWD set up and what kind of axles did you use are they stock as well hit me up are plz up date your Video I'm sure a lot of ppl want to know how you did that beast AWD set up.
basically. I am going to buy an ebay turbo kit and want to install it myself, I feel comfortable doing that even though I've never done it before. But Installing arp head studs, cam gears and cam shaft, pistons and rods, I wouldn't want to risk messing anything up. Just curious on a price from someone like you.
thanks for making this video man. Ive seen the others and you seem to know what you are doing and your not a half idiot like most honda owners here in WA, It silenced a turbo on a honda hater lol. Gives me hope that it can be done succesfully.
so you are running JE pistons now? what happened to the cast b-series vitaras? i'm thinking about running the pistons you had in the first how to turbo your honda video.
Nice vid bruv, forget the haters because its your money, you can experiment how you want, you will just learn from your mistake if it goes wrong, anyway well done, and where did you buy your turbo kit?
Haha I didn't know you're from PA, that's cool cuz so am I. Well I'm currently active duty mil so im not home till march but I've been watching all your videos because I have a F22 accord back home that I want to turbo. Any experience with those? Also ballpark range, what would i be looking at cost wise for a full turbo setup, tune, rods / pistons, etc?? Thanks!
I'm in Philly. And I want to turbo my 96 Civic Coupe. But I dont want to do it my self. I have no idea what I am doing, when it comes to installing a turbo kit. do you know any performance shops that will install a turbo kit in my civic? And about how much do you think it will all cost me?
i have a 99 type-r motor in a 95 hatch and came acrossed a victor-x intake for an ok price i just wanted to know if it would be worth the money to change out the stock intake or if the money would be better spent on something else?and if so what? thanx for you time. E
can i ask about your fueling? do i need fuel pressure regulator upgraded fuel filter on fire wall ect my setup not installed yet obviously but it is a garret 50 trim on a b18b1 with arp head studs i have 560cc injectors my goal is a daily 250whp with a good dyno tune on a hondata i have just want to do things right once and maybe do pistons and rods like your last video of the crx down the road thanks in advance man
I have a honda crx with a giant turbo making around 475-500 hp depending on boost and octane gas im feeding it and i blew it up last week and i now got this exact same car but its white and im going to turbo it just like you did, where did you order your turbo kit from because im wanting to turbo the old 240sx for a drift missle
It can be done a few ways and works awesome. I have a 1 hour phone consultation I offer that teaches people how to do the conversion. Email me at lavoy1@gmail.com if interested
Man its sad that you can make over 500hp so easily with a 4 cylinder and yet my 1990 mustang with a 5.0 is harder to push to those numbers in my opinion. I also have a 2012 civic si and i wish honda would make a v8 already. i heard rumors of a honda v8 being released in 2015 but we will see about that.
m2350 u can can even more hp but its expensive you can stroke engine an get to 450 hp then turbo or super charge youll make lots of power but ur wallet will be highly broke lol
Hey man have you cracked a sleeve yet? noticed in your alchohol injection you mentioned you were getting close to 500whp and just curious on how your sleeves are doing
Crazy, I'm just about to finish up a build, basically the same deal, I had the OEM sleeves replaced then did basic forged internals, upgraded fuel and a good turbo setup, hoping for about high 400s and maybe 500 with AEMs water meth injection
Michael Rodriguez no aem makes water methanol injection to reduce detonation to pump gas. I went a different rout and just decided to have two maps, one for 91 pump gas and the other for c16 race fuel.
I have a completely stock 99 acura integra Ls b18b i want to turbo, can you please email me a "list" of the must have part you think i need to replace, add, upgrade and the price range for your stock turbo build. Ill like to go at least 12psi safely and with the least amount of stress to the motor possible, cars also a daily driver. This would reallu help alot.
These are great videos, as I am a complete noob when it comes to Hondas, but was around musclecars all my life. I have owned everything from 1975 Elcamino with a 355 race engine in it to a Buick Regal turbo coupe, and now I'm married with a 10 year old daughter who enjoys my love for cars as well. I might try to sell `the minivan we have, for possibly a Honda or a Saab, and this video shows how nicely a Honda can run when boosted. Just a question or two... How expensive is the kit for the turbo, and is the 350-450 hp range pretty reliable with no mechanical issues afterwards... as I would like a modest boost without overkill. Reliable but not overboard. Thank you for a great set of videos, and showing an OLD skunk some of the newer tricks on the street... Who says ya can never stop learning new tricks? Kimonoskunk
+Justin Sane Im wonderings it's 2015, Is this car still alive? with the same setup? if so, how many miles have you put on this setup? and what did you replace if anything over the years?
just asking. is it worth it to turbo an automatic? some say its the same shit if you turbo a standard and some saythat its a waste to turbo an automatic
little worried about running anything above 5psi, do eagle rods and forged cp pistons lower the compression ratio enough to run more boost??? becuase on stock internals, integra is 10:1 :\
By far one or should I say two of the most impressive turbo jobs I have seen on Hondas. You get tons of respect Justin! This is awesome job that contains "zero" rice. So much horsepower, so much win!
Subscribed!! seen your video 2 yrs ago an still learning. Love them I live in PA cool you're from here too. Respect from me dude.
could you do a vid to touch on how you did the AWD setup alot of what i find on the internet is he said she said, and it seams you know what works. maybe just tell all the parts needed and any custom fab that you had to do
Sir I thank you. You have inspired and have guided my build. I'm in Erie pa and IMW will be my tuner aswell. Worth the drive.
Im glad you got the car back. Silly to sell a rare build. AWD conversions are hard to come by. My CRV is RT4WD and love what she puts down when i lauch at 8k. 70%less wheel spin. its awsome..
nice, cant wait to set one up down here in mexico. back at the track they only build up v8s. is rare to see a honda boosted out here. but keep up the good work. and posting up them helpful videos man. thanks
Nice work man I'm planning on boosting my gsr Integra and the first video really helps a lot thanks

This is awesome. How much money you got into it? Would this setup work on a Fit?
Justin can u please tell me where did u connect the vacumm lines for the turbo? Thank u. great videos by the way!!!
These videos are incredibly informative! Very much appreciate these. Do the axles/transmissions stand up to abuse?
man i wish that had that skillset to do this. thank you for the videos
I'm buying a Honda, this is so easy!
+Car Nut
Thinking the same! ;)
you have brought my respect for hondas up a slight amount.. but i'm sure when i see a lowered civic with a fart tip tomorrow that will change.
Congrats in the build mate! Don't you just love being a mechanic!!! Haha
I need a video on how you did the awd conversion
Very informative video! An amazing amount of information.
Dude, I love your videos. Awesome! And awesome car as well!! Respect
Nice vid, where did you bye the complete turbo kit?
Thanks
She's Working like a champ!
basically. I am going to buy an ebay turbo kit and want to install it myself, I feel comfortable doing that even though I've never done it before. But Installing arp head studs, cam gears and cam shaft, pistons and rods, I wouldn't want to risk messing anything up. Just curious on a price from someone like you.
You need do a how to build a all wheel drive honda with every step to do it with
You should make a video on how to turbo charge a H22A instead of a B18C.
thanks for making this video man. Ive seen the others and you seem to know what you are doing and your not a half idiot like most honda owners here in WA, It silenced a turbo on a honda hater lol. Gives me hope that it can be done succesfully.
would love to see a vid looking at how u did ur awd
so you are running JE pistons now? what happened to the cast b-series vitaras? i'm thinking about running the pistons you had in the first how to turbo your honda video.
i swapped them out when i decided to go past 450 hp to be safe
Could I do this to a Pontiac Vibe?
Nice vid bruv, forget the haters because its your money, you can experiment how you want, you will just learn from your mistake if it goes wrong, anyway well done, and where did you buy your turbo kit?
learned something new today. Interested what kind of people live there
Hey where are you from and did a shop do your awd or did u realy wanna know and if you do the awd how much do you chager
When you did the original build vid for this car, it was not AWD, correct?
Haha I didn't know you're from PA, that's cool cuz so am I. Well I'm currently active duty mil so im not home till march but I've been watching all your videos because I have a F22 accord back home that I want to turbo. Any experience with those? Can you do a AWD video for this car ?? Please ??
Hey I was wondering where to get these ycp vitara pistons in the right size that you used in a build .. and will they work / make a 84mm for a b20
Justin: what ECU did you use on this engine when you first built it? i don't think you mention that in the original vid.
I'm in Philly. And I want to turbo my 96 Civic Coupe. But I dont want to do it my self. I have no idea what I am doing, when it comes to installing a turbo kit. do you know any performance shops that will install a turbo kit in my civic? And about how much do you think it will all cost me?
I love Honda, It's like I never stopped playing with Lego's.
Do you have to upgrade the ECU or did you flash the ECU?
Thanks..
Are you still running the same cast Nippon pistons?
Nice vids n nice civics... u should make a how to vid from fwd to awd .... nice work tho keep it up
Hey what brand/comp ratio are you using? Id really like to put one together like this.
i have a 99 type-r motor in a 95 hatch and came acrossed a victor-x intake for an ok price i just wanted to know if it would be worth the money to change out the stock intake or if the money would be better spent on something else?and if so what? thanx for you time. E
where do you guys go for all your tuning?
Hey man did you put in head studs? Also what head gasket did you use?
did you get any vibration since the crank was not balanced for the new rods n pistons? or did the new setup weigh close to the same as the old parts
what rings did you use and did you gap them? doing the Sam build
can i ask about your fueling? do i need fuel pressure regulator upgraded fuel filter on fire wall ect my setup not installed yet obviously but it is a garret 50 trim on a b18b1 with arp head studs i have 560cc injectors my goal is a daily 250whp with a good dyno tune on a hondata i have just want to do things right once and maybe do pistons and rods like your last video of the crx down the road thanks in advance man
How much did it cost you to tune the car after you installed the turbo?
I have a honda crx with a giant turbo making around 475-500 hp depending on boost and octane gas im feeding it and i blew it up last week and i now got this exact same car but its white and im going to turbo it just like you did, where did you order your turbo kit from because im wanting to turbo the old 240sx for a drift missle
Are you running stock cams? And what ECU are u using?
Are you serious on the prelude 5th gear? I've got to look into that for my crv, but would it work with a stock engine?
Where do you buy your turbo kits?
What setup are you running? I'm about to turbo my B20/Vtec so i wanted to know about your stuff in your car
What kinda of turbos and you running in the blue and red car ... thanks
An LS/VTEC that bent a rod? You don't say :P. Still, cool vids, love the setup! Thumbs up!
Justin,
How many miles did you have on the honda before the build? By the way. Great work. Looks really good.
was one them over seas swaps so no real idea, i guess pretty high
nice, any issues from drilling into the oil pan? leaks or warps?
Nope. Welded the bung on nice and slow
Hi interested in how you made ya civic awd what was the process been looking into it for my ep3 turbo cheers
what would you charge to build a b18c1 with an ebay turbo kit, arp head studs, cam gears and cam shaft, pistons?
I really want to see more about this AWD system you have going on, is it variable/ 50-50, and how does is affect weight distribution?
It can be done a few ways and works awesome. I have a 1 hour phone consultation I offer that teaches people how to do the conversion. Email me at lavoy1@gmail.com if interested
JUSTIN DO A VIDEO ON THE AWD FROM THE CRV
What fuel setup on the green hatch is it stock fuel lines and what size fuel pump?
What transmission, clutch and axles do you run?
what was the $ price for boring the engine out new pistons and rod and turbo'd?
Nice work man.
is this a CX kit? I saw that they have a kit that comes with a turbonetics turbo now. what turbo were you running?
Go Autoworks I think.
All this hatch needs I'd paint, wheels and alot of spoon interior goodies :)
Damn can you tell me a recommendation for a v4 2003 accord coupe turbo kit that can get me a decent boost
What piston rod combo is this
What did you do for injectors? Did I miss something or are still on the stock injectors?
Boats A id 1000s
Is the head built or just pistons and rod for motor work? Thanks
head now has cams and springs but when first did the video and made 420 it was stock.
what turbo kit is on there?
What awd do you use????
how much was that set up
Man its sad that you can make over 500hp so easily with a 4 cylinder and yet my 1990 mustang with a 5.0 is harder to push to those numbers in my opinion. m2350 2018 accords are coming with type r motors. Supposedly
m2350 u can can even more hp but its expensive you can stroke engine an get to 450 hp then turbo or super charge youll make lots of power but ur wallet will be highly broke lol
you ever in atlanta area would love for you to turbo my civic..lol..
Hey man have you cracked a sleeve yet? noticed in your alchohol injection you mentioned you were getting close to 500whp and just curious on how your sleeves are doing
sleeves in this set up are fine so far its at 516 now
Crazy, I'm just about to finish up a build, basically the same deal, I had the OEM sleeves replaced then did basic forged internals, upgraded fuel and a good turbo setup, hoping for about high 400s and maybe 500 with AEMs water meth injection
Colten Wortman Your car runs on meth? Haha!
Michael Rodriguez no aem makes water methanol injection to reduce detonation to pump gas. I went a different rout and just decided to have two maps, one for 91 pump gas and the other for c16 race fuel.
Justin Sane
can i turbo a non v-tech 16 valve honda same as ur red honda?? thanks
Who tuned it?
I have a completely stock 99 acura integra Ls b18b i want to turbo, can you please email me a "list" of the must have part you think i need to replace, add, upgrade and the price range for your stock turbo build. Ill like to go at least 12psi safely and with the least amount of stress to the motor possible, cars also a daily driver. This would reallu help alot.
Frankenstein eg u got there haha. Than again I have parts from other hondas as well haha
What is your car AWD or FWD
so he made 476whp on everything stock in a b20 block?
These are great videos, as I am a complete noob when it comes to Hondas, but was around musclecars all my life. Kimonoskunk
Kimono Skunk my kits sell for between 2 and 3500.00 k depending on exact needs and goals for most d and b series
+Justin Sane Im wonderings it's 2015, Is this car still alive? with the same setup? if so, how many miles have you put on this setup? and what did you replace if anything over the years?
if I buy a turbo for my FRS will you install it for me please?!?!
He justin Sane will it work on the honda prelude 2.0 16 V SOHC 1992 keep it coming
is it running on stock ECU?
I want this turbo kit soooooo bad
I wish i can do my hatch like that
No cage at 10 seconds? suicide box lol
And motorcycles run 10s with a cage around them? GTRs? GTFO
is itpossible to boost a 5th gen lude
just asking. is it worth it to turbo an automatic? some say its the same shit if you turbo a standard and some saythat its a waste to turbo an automatic
I love automatics.
Man thats strange I actually re watched both "How to turbo" videos the other day
@m2350 it is very sad coz my civic is a manual 94 vti shortened shiter in it and few minor stuff and I beat 5.0litres all the time
little worried about running anything above 5psi, do eagle rods and forged cp pistons lower the compression ratio enough to run more boost??? becuase on stock internals, integra is 10:1 :\
yes. but it really comes down to your goal. 10 -1 is fine as long as your goal isn't higher then the oem.parts can manage
interference
u mean u are asking to hire me?
