- Here is a look at Eggy Racing and there Sport Front Wheel Drive/True Street Turbo Honda Civic. CHeckout the low 9 second passes as they are they world's fastest Honda to utilize stock sleeves. This was done due to CNC Werx and their Cylinder Support System which has been implemented on the Eggy Racing Turbo Civic!

since sleeves are what creates the tq within the motor ( it is where the force is applied) at a distance to the crank, sleeves should be rated in force or tq not hp.... a force on the sleeve breaks it, not how many times its applied.
althought hp gives an indication of force, it doesnt tell you enough. you can run more boost down low, resulting in less hp but more crank tq and thus more stress on the sleeve than at higher rpms with more hp and less crank tq.... just saying

@luigi jimenez I know for a fact the stock sleeves can reach 500hp with a good tune, perhaps the advertisement should have said "warrantied up to 500hp" because if your car is 500hp or less and cracks a sleeve you get money back.. either way theres cars pushing 800hp with stock sleeves thanks to the css

This is impressive, but check out the Real Street Performance S2000... They made 700+hp on a completely stock, unopened block, with factory internals. The head had never even been off the motor. It ran mid to low 9's, was street legal, and lasted 20k miles before it blew up. Now THAT is really impressive!

They are bore lining of the aluminum blocks, usually iron (stock) to handle the temperatures and pressures of combustion which aluminum has trouble dealing with. Iron blocks don't use sleeves, but they are heavier also.

That red civic hatch most likely doesn't have a stock sleeves bottom end neither, its probably got a built sleeves bottom end that's the difference.

I wanna know how much power the car in the video is making. CNC warranty will cover any cracked sleeves at or below 500 wheel HP. The car in the video is CLEARLY above that. Still an awesome produce just shows how much abuse and pressure this product can take. And only $250 dollars, Makes it easier for us small grass roots racers to try to work our way up the ranks.
