These car's are running mid 9s with 1.8, 2.0, and 2.4 four cylinder engine's and amazingly the same thing can be done with a 1.6 four cylinder engine. If anyone want's to complain on how they're not RWD then please go watch a video about a 2.4 FOUR CYLINDER civic converted to a RWD running low 7s. For all the dumbass ignorant people who think Honda's are rice then you have A LOT to learn because in the REAL racing world, Honda is KNOWN for RACING.

Respect, those are fast hatches. one of the reasons i like hondas they amaze me your pulling 1000hp from 2 liters thats 500hp per liter just crazy. for the people dogging "ricers" "4banger" "Fwd" whatever when you think of it this is like pulling 3000hp from a mustang 5.0 ho motor in retrospect. im happy to be pulling my 220hp or so from my 2 liters and still getting 40mpg, wish my old 87 foxbody gt had the same ratio of power to displacement and didnt sacrifice gas mileage.
Just bought a 2013 Honda Civic Ex auto (IK i cant drive stick...YET!!) and i skipped the 2014 due to the damn CVT crap that Honda calls a transmission lol. The day i have enough money to make it a beast like the ones shown here will be the day a daily driver gets speeding tickets every 5 mins, so far its stock, im saving up for a turbo and looking forward to reprogramming the ECU soon. These speed demon racing machines are beast and these videos are my motivation!!!
Yea dude. It's not the overheating, it's just shit materials. Turbines breaking after a very short amount of cycles, choke issues, hell, I saw an eBay turbo blow the welds on someone's intake (no I didn't, I just had to quote fast and the furious) But the good thing about k series is that they can handle a good amount of boost before you would want to consider swapping internals, but then you're stepping out of daily driver territory. Spend the money on a well known brand like Garrett or Borg Warner And for goodness sake learn to drive stick. You'll be glad you did. Good luck on your k build!

dude when i was in ocean city maryland for h2oi in 2014 (? could be wrong im a little drunk) there was a civic with a hood exit exhaust and that bitch was so loud when it backfired it set off car alarms for a block radius. i’m a truck guy and have driven boosted turbo diesels since i was 19 but that one civic sticks in my memory
just wonder is 15 psi to much boost for a my stock type r rods? i dont rag it out but i def dont wanna throw a rode threw the case or something. please no BS. thanx for your answers. its just expensive and its a real jdm b18c
If you have to ask on youtube, then yes it is. (not trying to be an ass) 8-10psi is usually safe on a stock block. 15 is doable, but make sure you get it tuned by someone who really knows what they're doing. But I wouldn't go that high if you plan on daily driving it.

Thats a 2 Step System they use. It acts as a second rev limiter. And in a Turbo car, it builds up a lot of boost for the launch.
