Hey Diamond Thomas, Amy Poehler from baby mama and mean girls created the show along with Cynthia True and Erik Wiese. And Poehler plays Bessie. And to follow up on your first comment, i agree Bessie does have a good singing voice. 👍 for Amy Poehler for having a great voice.
Fun fact: The show released on April 26th 2008 which is also released my birthday in 2007 after when I was a 1 year old baby in 2008 from the show to come on!
