Pontoon captain was actually pretty smart. Instead of battling his way out, he rode the wake of the boat ahead thus giving him relatively flat water. I still wouldn’t take one out, they belong on lakes and rivers, but I do have to hand it to him. Whether intentional or not is a different story😂
Interesting. the deep Vee hulls clearly handle the inlet better so long as you know how much power to use, the shallow V's get a lot of bounce. The unidentified vessel with it's displacement hull did OK but would have done better with a bit more power in the engine department, but they kept a dry boat.. The Magnum 50 showed everyone how to do it, but you need to have confidence to enter any inlet at that sort of speed I'm guessing they are a local. The pontoon boat did ok going out but coming back in showed the deficiencies of it's skipper
Ahoy Wavy! West coast Canada here. Loads of boat stuff, nothing like Haulover. Ok that cruiser is a Ranger Tug. Beautifully finished in and out. Can use a gallon of gas an hour, if set up for it. All have nice cabins and small cooking place. Most run a 250 hp Yamaha Offshore or something, so forget a gal per hour usually. Not built for speed, will hold up to 25 knots. Cutwater is the same company and those are more suited to lead foots. Likely to see a couple of 250s on a Cutwater.
"Hey I bought a new anchor for the boat, after the last one 'disappeared'". "Do you want me to tie it off when we install it?", "Nah, we'll do it later" 🤭

I love these videos! Great quality. It seems everyone on board has open alcohol and no life jackets. If someone went overboard, rescue would be very difficult if not impossible. Are there no regulations in these waters?
