Runs like a beauty! What did it solve, smoke? Can I ask you , the black hose on the engine cover, where does that go to? I have my house going into a T connector at the back, and then another house come out but goes nowhere and I get white smoke coming out of it, it this house going in the air filter? Thanks!
Got engine running smoother and when engine was cold, it does start better now as valves are adjusted properly. Makes big difference with these old school diesel engines. Yeah, its probably breather hose. White smoke that comes out of hose is engine's blow-by. Those usually go from valve cover to intake manifold, location depends of engine series (240D, 300D or 300D turbo on W123 series.) Some of these diesel engines from 70s had different air filter located different place than over the engine, examble on W115 series of mercedes (predecessor of W123 series), usually close to left front next to radiator. Hope this helps! 😄👍
@@EspanaylosDerechosHumanos I thought that was normal oil pressure at hot idle. Been seeing it like that in many of these and 240D engines begin 2,2-2,5 bar when hot. When cold, it is at level 3.
@@EspanaylosDerechosHumanos No oil sender on a W123, it's a mechanical gauge. And 2 bar is normal for a hot engine at idle, in fact I would expect between 1 and 2 bar

Kilometar sat nije njegov.
Your oil sender needs to be changed.
Why? Sender? You mean pump?
@@olavi_liikanen no, the sender. It is located on the block below the collector. How do I know? Oil level on the dashboard should be at level 3
