I can't believe the amount of Halloween stuff you've collected...of course, all of your things are unbelievable, I love the Margaret Hamilton Wizard of Oz witch, she's my favorite.....I would love love love it if you could do an additional video explaining where, when and how you got your decorations. I'm so interested in knowing the history behind alot of your pieces....as always you and your wife have done a phenomenal job!! I live on the island of Kauai. It's very limited shopping here. However, I still find stuff at garage sales, internet etc. I also decorate for Christmas. I focus on themed Christmas trees. I have around 30 trees . Thank you again for sharing your talent and labor of love .

I love everything about this! Not just the decorations, which are incredible, but also the obvious love you've put into making Halloween magical and amazing. Every year I've noticed drastically fewer people handing out candy and the Halloween aisles shrinking further and further until it feels like Halloween will eventually be pushed out altogether. It makes me SO happy to see people like you pushing back. This is just amazing!!!

Ana, thanks for your comment, although an odd time of the year to be watching Halloween videos (LOL!!!)? Most of the music was purchased from a royalty-free music site called "audiojungle". Also, I wish it were otherwise, but none of the Halloween is vintage -- it's all reproduction, although a lot of it is very limited or one-of-a-kind pieces made by current Halloween artists. Happy New Year to you!
What fantastic Halloween decorations. Very tastefully done. I can tell you thought these out very carefully. It appears alot of your collection is from the very old whimsical decor from the 50s and 60s. Love it. And the music you used in the video was perfect. What fun. Happy Halloween!

Incredible, fantastic, magnificent! I've never seen such an awesome Halloween collection. My favorites are the scarecrows in the hutch, the bedrooms how you themed them out, the trees, the skeleton with the sombrero. The Day of the Dead is my favorite bedroom. While most of these home tour videos are done that way (commentary), I personally don't care where the person purchased their stuff from. I mean, unless it was purchased this year, it is unlikely the item will be there in following years. Plus, I am always happy to answer those types of questions in the comment section. The music added to the Halloween magic. I also appreciated the amount of time you took to record each room which allowed me to take in all the details. I find the music adds ambiance and typically I don't care where somebody purchased their decorations. We plan on decorating for Halloween this year (2018) and I will likely put together some type of video.

Marie, my wife carved the train mountain scene from Styrofoam and then painted it black. She is awesome with her hot wire carving utensils! It is a fabulous scene, and even better in person. The cool thing about it is it's 360 degree nature. Thanks for commenting about it.

Well, I'm 8m in watching on tv & had to stop and say amazing! Your collection exceeds anything I've ever seen! I'm very picky what I buy as a lot actually stays up year round. Lol I wish I had a two story but for 2 people its perfect & open. We are eventually making the 2 car garage into a game room continuing the Halloween, horror, zombie eclectic that are more fun hearted. We are trying, lol also to make one horror movie room. No furniture, just those nice bean chairs, pillows, blankets & few trays for drinks etc. I'm sorry for rambling, it's just nice to see someone who loves it as I do. I don't have children due to early cancer & they worry my health isn't well enough to adopt. Once we get finished I'm hoping to find foster homes, adoption centers, but kids to do a month long tour & play in the game room or have a movie kids night. If you have any website's or suggestions finding pieces on sale or not full priced, I would be very grateful! I'd love to see an updated tour.. If that's even possible! Monique -- Glad you enjoyed the tour. I don't have man suggestions regarding finding Halloween items at a good price, other than the obvious shopping the 50% off sales after Halloween plus using coupons for additional savings. A lot of the stuff was purchased at your typical home goods stores, gift and holiday shops, craft stores, and of course, ebay. The one thing I will say about ebay is patience is a virtue. Unless something is very rare, if an item comes up for sale and sells for the high end of its price range just wait for the next one to come up. It's surprising how prices can fluctuate on ebay. Finally, do you know anybody who owns a retail shop? They will likely have a retail license that allows them to get into the local merchandise mart. I believe most merchandise marts in large cities have "sample" sales where the wholesalers get rid of the product samples they have in their showrooms. The prices are generally far less than retail, and that is how we put together some of the collections we have. I am working on a new Halloween video and hope to post it around the first part of October.

We did get a few hours to check some thrift & antique shops. Our big problem is we live in SC, they don't do Halloween here. All the videos of Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc are just putting things out & very little. It's harvest to Christmas. I do love eBay. I've only got in one bidding war for a Gurley, still in package, tall, square, red & black candle with different scenes on each side. If you collect J Parker, B Lowe, etc, go to Zulilly. Don't use the app. Make an account. Search by name or Transpac. Favorite anything that sells fast it will be back. They have other brands as well at very good prices! I check it daily. You can split payment into 2 months. I really enjoy talking to other collectors & helping others. I do greatly appreciate you & your passion! We look forward to the new tour as well! No furniture, just those nice bean chairs, pillows, blankets & few trays for drinks etc. I'm sorry for rambling, it's just nice to see someone who loves it as I do. I don't have children due to early cancer & they worry my health isn't well enough to adopt. Once we get finished I'm hoping to find foster homes, adoption centers, but kids to do a month long tour & play in the game room or have a movie kids night. If you have any website's or suggestions finding pieces on sale or not full priced, I would be very grateful! I'd love to see an updated tour.. If that's even possible! Monique -- Glad you enjoyed the tour. I don't have man suggestions regarding finding Halloween items at a good price, other than the obvious shopping the 50% off sales after Halloween plus using coupons for additional savings. A lot of the stuff was purchased at your typical home goods stores, gift and holiday shops, craft stores, and of course, ebay. The one thing I will say about ebay is patience is a virtue. Unless something is very rare, if an item comes up for sale and sells for the high end of its price range just wait for the next one to come up. It's surprising how prices can fluctuate on ebay. Finally, do you know anybody who owns a retail shop? They will likely have a retail license that allows them to get into the local merchandise mart. I believe most merchandise marts in large cities have "sample" sales where the wholesalers get rid of the product samples they have in their showrooms. The prices are generally far less than retail, and that is how we put together some of the collections we have.

We did get a few hours to check some thrift & antique shops. Our big problem is we live in SC, they don't do Halloween here. All the videos of Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc are just putting things out & very little. It's harvest to Christmas. I do love eBay. I've only got in one bidding war for a Gurley, still in package, tall, square, red & black candle with different scenes on each side.
If you collect J Parker, B Lowe, etc, go to Zulilly. Don't use the app. Make an account. Search by name or Transpac. Favorite anything that sells fast it will be back. They have other brands as well at very good prices! I check it daily. You can split payment into 2 months. I really enjoy talking to other collectors & helping others.
