Thank you for sharing ur beautiful Halloween home. I find so much inspiration. I rewatch your previous tours. This year I noticed the day of the dead village. What a great idea. I love how you add villages to your room themes. I have the Wizard of Oz witch too. I’d like to decorate a room to her too. I Iike how ur house is full but not cluttered. Each item has a home. My decor starts to look cluttered from all the layers, banners, lights, and just adding items behind and in front of things. 🎃💀❤️

We bought most of those blown glass Halloween ornaments back in the 1990's at Christmas stores, gift shops and large department stores, especially after Christmas on sale. I know we don't comment, but we have been watching your videos, although we tend to be a couple weeks behind. We watched your dining room video last night. YV and I commented that overall it may have been our favorite from over the years. Your swags and garland work on tops of the cabinets and buffet are stellar!
Your collection is outstanding! Especially love the rare Johanna Parker pieces, large dangling figures, one of a kind sculptures. Always enjoy your themed rooms including Dia de los Muertos, “Wizard of Oz” with witch. Great village displays! Your home tour is a treat I look forward to every Halloween season,
This is so much work. We have a SMALL one bedroom apartment, and it takes US several days to decorate for Halloween. You must start preparing and dragging stuff out in July! Really fun video. Lovely work. Looking forward to seeing your antique & vintage Christmas items this year.

And, well, we did start in July, although "starting" means taking down everyday stuff, dusting and cleaning in preparation of putting up the displays. Unfortunately, there will not be any Christmas stuff this year. There is no way we can get Halloween down and put away in time. We have to rotate years between Halloween and Christmas.
@Ho-Ho-Boo Ah, I see--I was wondering how you would manage between Halloween and Christmas! Even in our tiny place, we start the preparations a week ahead. As you mentioned, the removing of items and the dusting of everything takes a bit...and then dragging it all up from the basement, then deciding what to use and what not to, where it will go, etc. Well, we really enjoyed your Halloween video and look forward to your Christmas video NEXT year! We hope to make Golden Glow 2025 as it's in Chicago and we're in Milwaukee--close by! Love your Golden Glow videos as well. Take care :)
Very impressive, love it! Is it me or is the devil pretty much absent from modern Halloween decorations? Seems like devil imagery was more "popular" back in the 60's and 70's. 90% of stuff these days is skeletal in nature.
Had not thought about it, but I think you are right. I would not be surprised if it is due to strict religous people complaining about devil decorations when they see them?
