You guys should do a trip to the coast or waves pool, take a selection of different boards and fins, video it and do a team review. It would be great to see the whole team’s different thoughts and ideas, plus coming from real surfer’s people could relate to.
Sick idea. Pitching this first thing to the bosses. We will be trying to bring more and more content for you in different formats this year!
Would be sick but boards ride differently in pools
Wow. Looks a nice board! It will perfectly fits here in the canary islands. It's the perfect sinergia volcanic islands/board. Eagerly to win this contest.
I had my Ricky Carroll SUP surf shape made from Basalt 3 years ago and the board is just about Bomb proof….
Grab EL TOMO FISH on Volcanic construction for christmas, the board feels amazing! ultra light & very responsive, can´t found "REAL" info in terms of durability on the "Basalt fiber" , hope the board strength worth the price hahaha....
Great Christmas Gift! Enjoy.
How will patch-up repairs look like on this?
How do patch up repairs look on any other board? Use the right stuff and a skilled hand and you'll be grand.
Patch, smooth, keep going. Maybe add a sticker for fun.@@BoardshopUK
So is it still helium construction?
Its an iteration. Volcanic combines the Helium with new tech.
Flex, cost down for manufacturing etc…bla bla bla…what about durability compared to Helium 2? As you don’t even mention about durability
Thanks David, these should be stronger. Helium is already pretty strong and these will take the level up.
Haven't ridden it yet but just got a cymatic volcanic feels super strong to me, I reckon volcanic will replace helium 2 0 no more yellowing. I've got a ibolic FRK had it for the last 4 months, the durability is amazing stronger deck then helium and doesn't yellow.
Basalt is incredibly durable. I have been riding my 8’6” Ricky Carroll sup in everything from knee high to 10’ and hammering my board rails on turns and NO damage.Board feels like a poly board with the flex and the Basalt eats up any chop for a great ride.
Basalt fiber is the real deal…..
