    The 2nd song, starting when he enters the ride or at 2:35 is called Apollo by Johannes Bornlöf. I found it deep in the comments and now I try to push it further up, since a lot of people were looking for it - including me.

    That first major drop at 5:27 literally made me feel like I was on a real coaster for a bit. That was really weird I have never had that happen to me with a virtual experience.

      You are a madman :D If there's one thing that doesn't go well together it's VR and rollercoasters. If this thing got ported to VR you'd start seeing "you puke, you loose"-challenges crop up on youtube ^^

    That is incredible. The saying "I could only dream of doing this" is actually incorrect. Even in my wildest, creative dreams I would never come up with anything even remotely close to this. The attention to detail is stunning. The fact the game lets you create something as beautiful as this is amazing. Also....the music you put over the video is perfect as well. For me, it helped me become totally engrossed in this ride and the journey, as you said. Just awesome!

      You know that we are just a simulation projected to produce content for the real reality and every game and movie we produce here they put in their reality, right?
      They get the most successful vehicles and produce in their reality with 1% of the effort, they don't have to make movies or series because we produce everything to them.
      And all the amazing scenarios and projects we design, they can translate to their reality.
      Like this park for example.

    It took me 15 minutes to load this map and my pc nearly died in the middle of the coaster on ultra. Every square inch has hundreds of assets and particle effects. Astonishing to look at, really beautiful.

    I love roller coasters. I'm 50 now and still feel like I did when I was 10 years old riding a roller coaster for the first time. This was beautiful, thrilling and exhilarating. I had tears in my eyes and a big dopey grin on my face. I loved it. As a player.... OMFG 300 hours, As a guest in the park... OMFG this is Fantastic.

      The first track is called 'Titans' by 'Dream Cave' and is licensed by Epidemic Sounds. Incidentally 'Johannes Bornlof' has an identical track called 'Titans' here on YT.

      TheMadmanAndre I don't want to understate exactly how freaking amazing this coaster is, but there isn't really a narrative here man. There's a progression, sure. But that doesn't mean there's a narrative. Narrative implies a story, and no story is being told here. It's just an amazingly well designed coaster that progresses through multiple biomes and scenes.

      @@hrothgarnogar The narrative is pretty obviously that you're going through an eastern-style sky city that mines magic crystals, then it gets attacked by pirates on air ships that destroy part of the track (you see a damaged section with a broken airship), then it drops suddenly to escape and goes through maybe some secret back tunnels through the nearby lake and back out the village that surrounds the city. That is a narrative.

    The idea of waterfalls shutting off just before a train passes and bubbles for underwater scenes is something that MUST be done in real life!!!!
    I always wanted to make an airship like this too. It makes me sad they dont exist.

    I'd wait in line for a month to ride this! But I'd want the speakers behind me playing this music. And when I get off the ride, I'm buying the souvenir photo, 2 t-shirts (one to wear now and one to put away forever), a sweatshirt, a cap, a keychain, a patch, a thermal tumbler, a big pencil. Lord, this was gorgeous!

    Planet Coaster is just an amazing game. You can let your mind soar imagine and put to work whatever theme park idea comes to mind. This coaster was stunning. The attention to detail and the work. For 300 hours of work, I absolutely love it. The ideas, the scenery and the ride was amazing. The decoration made the ride THAT MUCH better. The music put over the video made it even better than it already was.

    Hell, Ive spent nearly 300 hours creating an amusement park in Cities Skylines, but this seems much more rewarding...I'll have to give it a try.

      @@stephensummers1958 parklife DLC allows you to build a city park, an amusement park, a zoo, and a nature reserve.
      That combined with the fact that I have almost 2,000 mods and assets has allowed for some unusually lengthy/detailed builds.

    The suspense of climbing then climbing again and then again, and again, then looking out over the whole planet just before you get the first drop is insane, and brilliant. You've already convinced yourself it will be a drop from near earth orbit, and the electric goes through your spine. Brilliant!

    In a video game the creator was able to somehow create an amazing world and an amazing story. This ride alone could be an inspiration for a Disney movie. Gave me Planet Treasure vibes

    Wow, not only was the scenery beautiful, but for such a gigantic coaster, with the heights they were using, it looked like a legit comfortable ride. Also, personally gave me a major Skies of Arcadia vibe (man I wish they would remaster that game or have a sequel!)

      Nearly all the influence comes from Skies of Arcadia, actually added a new version of it as well as creating a sister coaster in the same park Delphinus Rising. Both are on my RUclips channel.
