I thought the one where Aaron Boone crouched down behind the plate and showed the ump where he thought the pitches were was the funniest. Don't know how that didn't make it on this.
I always love how the announcers talk about umpires having a quick trigger. These guys can not hear what is being said on the field, one phrase or one word can turn a situation from maybe a warning to being done for the game.
I can't blame Gardenhire for getting mad, since that would have been the only time the Tigers would have been above .500 for the entire season. You can't just miss a golden opportunity like that.
Perhaps the most funny ejection happened WAY WAY back, I think it took place during the deadball era. I would have to check in one of my baseball books in my game room. The story goes it was raining like hell I guess, and this one batter comes to the plate & asked the ump to stop the game cos it was raining too hard. The ump said no. So when the feller came to bat later in the game & it was still raining, he came too the plate & opened up an umbrella & says to the ump, "Is it raining hard enough now?" Needless to say the batter was rung up on that one. True story too. Simply a CLASSIC!!! LMFAO
I love how the commentators always say he was going towards the dugout lol doesn’t matter where he was going doesn’t mean he can say what he wants while he’s walking away.
Should've done the one when Counsell got ejected by Cory Blaser when he warned benches when the brewers were facing the cardinals when miley threw behind O'Neil.
14:03 “Frustration brewing over here in the Tenth for the Reds”. **Looks at the bottom of the screen at the graphics** sees that the graphics clearly show that it is the Twelfth inning. 😂🤦🏼♀️ Unless they are referencing something that happened in the Tenth and that could be why the Reds are mad. Maybe there was another call or something that they disagreed with then and now this just pushed them over the edge? 🤷🏼♀️🤔
If umpires are allowed to make human mistakes then players should also be allowed to make human mistakes and show a bit of emotion. Nobody goes to games to see umpires make calls, they go to see players play.
The umpires have become a disgrace to baseball. Get rid of them or hold them accountable!!! Make them give interviews, and broadcast the fines they get, if they get any at all. I hate how they get away with everything
He said something about not being able to hear Riggleman, which makes sense--given how loud the 13 people who show up to Reds games can be, you can barely hear yourself think.
Going to be weird to see how these interactions go when baseball resumes and we see how social distancing will change the way umpires, managers, and players interact. Doubt they will be allowed to be that close to each other's faces anymore. Weird.
Being an Umpire is NOT easy! So many split decision super-close, often judgement calls in high pressure moments on Type A people. What could possibly go wrong?
Nole says "being an umpire is not easy" So that gives an umpire a pass for calling highballs strikes and balls in the dirt strikes?? They need to be held accountable and they're not
8:02 is some bullshit. First of all, you're not allowed to argue a balk/non-balk, and I can't imagine you'd be allowed to change from not calling a balk to then calling a balk. You can't just call it after an opposing manager asks about it, that's actual bullshit. No problem with Bannister being pissed there. Yes, it was a balk, but you gotta call that in the moment, not after AJ Hinch comes out to convince you
What about the game where coward Jose Urena didn't want to pitch to Ronald Acuna and hit him? That was a much better scenario with Snit than way back in the first series of the year with the Phillies.
they always wait until the player is walking away or the manager is in the dugout when the get tossed...guess its easier to throw someone out when you don't have to face them.
Kela 100% balked, didnt come set....however, I've never seen a balk called after the fact, after a play is over....it needs to be called on the pitch, not after when the umpires come together
I like at 7:12 you can hear the dialogue what Mike Scioscia is saying to the umpire they should do that more who cares if their cursing, I always wonder what the managers and players are saying to the umpires when they screaming at each other
I never understand why managers argue with the on field crew after a replay review goes the opposite way. This is one instance where the on field crew isn’t in control of the situation.
I don't even understand the Stanton "strikeout". The ball hit his hands on a swing, how is that a K? What world is that a K in? Are they calling that a bunt attempt? What possible rule could they be making up to call a swing where the ball hits you a K? Makes 0 sense.
Am I the only one who considers it annoying when a game ending play is under review and they display a score with "FINAL" next to it when the game is still undecided?
Every league considers ejections to be shameful. The MLB not only doesn't, but flaunts it. Gotta love 'em for this!
It’s the human factor that is still part of baseball.
Funny … I never thought of that. Yeah, everybody except the belligerents thinks it funny. In the NFL it's an absolute disgrace to be thrown out.
That’s because there isn’t much strategy in baseball, a squirrel could run a game
@@the_calibrator that’s a very stupid take lmao
Every sport is going to have its quirks.
"Don't worry I'm leaving Joe, you can go call another call wrong!"
God I love Andy Green
You can’t hear a post-argument more clear as day than that one. Priceless
They need to mic up more ejections. I like to hear the conversations.
Juan Pablo Salazar-Ortiz look for Mic’d up ejections by Wesley Apex

Earl Weaver has an epic one with Bill Haller from years ago.
@@decline2state Weaver: "You're here for one reason, to f**k us!!" Haller: "Hah, boom! (tosses Weaver out of game)" 😁
“Greg Gibson the Home Plate Umpire”. I can not be the only one who thought of that every time they heard Greg Gibson’s name. 😂⚾️
V Bry you’re not the only one
V Bry every single time man.
Greg Gibson home plate umpire motioning to both eggs at breakfast!
Every time

Word I watched this video purposely to see that one!! Very surprised
Missing the Aaron Boone one where he got down in the catcher's position. Tigers manager was ejected in that same game!
Those Major League Baseball (MLB) managerial ejections never get old.
I love this shit. Could watch for hours.
Gotta love how the MLB RUclips channel makes compilations of their own employees fucking up in game-altering ways.
The best part is when you are watching the game live and everyone stands up to clap and cheer on the manager. Good times haha
11:48 GOAT

MLB with 1.5 million subscribers and only two comments wow
@windows8253 I know but still a bit disappointing
They spam too many videos. Too much content can be a bad thing.
Why the ump at 8:21 look 15 years old 😂😂
Dj Reyburn
4:47 just kiss already damn
12:04 I was at this game. We were so hype when Kemp was tossed and Roberts. Then later Yasmani Grandal got tossed.
No Boone ejection from when he taught the umpire how to call balls and strikes Vs the Tigers?
I love how Andy Green has a lot of Joe Girardi's fire in him
I can't blame Gardenhire for getting mad, since that would have been the only time the Tigers would have been above .500 for the entire season. You can't just miss a golden opportunity like that.
Bro I want joe giradi back 😭😭

I agree I love Joe he put on one hell of a show
Sweet Lou was the best with throwing the base and kicking his hat.

11:49 “don’t worry I’m leaving joe yu don’t call another call wrong”
I couldn’t just stand there with someone within kissing range yelling at me. I’d have to swing
the one with carpenter pisses me off and I was at that game. he was heading to the dugout. it was an Import game and all series umps just blew it.
I was there at the Rangers Astros game that day @8:00. I'm a Ranges fan and as soon as it happened I said it was a quick pitch. I knew it immediately
Props to Ketel Marte clearing the bats out of the way for Lovullo and Molina. He didn’t want to stop the fight he just didn’t want someone to trip.
I sometimes imagine them yelling about their life problems when there’s no audio 😂
Renteria is just salty he can't manage
Chi Sox Get used to it. They resigned him. Id say dump the hitting coach Todd whateverthefuck
Molina was lifting the ball...all the catcher do it and the umpires are all so stupid they fall for it and let it go...
The lifting is one thing but the way he reacted he should have been rung himself for.
I believe the other manager referred to Molina as MF and that is what set him off
I love how the commentators always say he was going towards the dugout lol doesn’t matter where he was going doesn’t mean he can say what he wants while he’s walking away.
how many times do they say " he's gonna get his moneys worth" please let it go
Huge Braves fan but my favorite ejection was of Riggleman from the Reds. Work of art.
Baseball is funny, they get sooo close and just yell at each other!!
Should've done the one when Counsell got ejected by Cory Blaser when he warned benches when the brewers were facing the cardinals when miley threw behind O'Neil.
The one with the balk was absolutely a balk, but how can you make that call after the pitch was thrown? That call has to be made right away.
Idk who the ump is in the thumbnail but he really has a quick attitude
14:03 “Frustration brewing over here in the Tenth for the Reds”. **Looks at the bottom of the screen at the graphics** sees that the graphics clearly show that it is the Twelfth inning. 😂🤦🏼♀️ Unless they are referencing something that happened in the Tenth and that could be why the Reds are mad. Watching cubs at cards and love the manager getting ejected
Instant replay has taken away sooooooo many ejections from us 😫
these umpires can act like straight up little girls
Greg Gibson, the home plate umpire, motioning to both managers
Nightmarish words...
“Don’t mess with Yadi. Not here.” Damn right
It amuses me because the Managers in the MLB takes the ejections seriously and making their moneys worth than the other Major Leagues 🤣🤣
Nah umps don't need to back down. They are humans that deserve respect and right treatment as well.
My dad told me about the Yadier Molina one but I never saw what happened lol luckily he came back in the next game
Newsflash to announcers. The second you argue balls or strikes you are subject to ejection. Doesn't matter if your right or wrong
Rendon never argued and got tossed tho... Got an explanation for that one?
If umpires are allowed to make human mistakes then players should also be allowed to make human mistakes and show a bit of emotion. Nobody goes to games to see umpires make calls, they go to see players play.
@@tamahawk175 you didn't hear the magic words uttered?

I wonder how many post ejection HR's there are per year. Or even post ejection rally's.
Umpires are often cocky , blind and stubborn but once they eject someone they need to leave the field immediately or face extreme consequences
Great
The umpires have become a disgrace to baseball. Get rid of them or hold them accountable!!! Make them give interviews, and broadcast the fines they get, if they get any at all. I hate how they get away with everything
1:35 that was one of the most candy-assed ejections in history
Astros always getting the right call.
They need to screen these umps more
The ball tracker is so accurate nowadays we should just use that for calling pitches. Use umps for ONLY calls at the plate
This is why I’ve stopped spending my money on MLB. No accountability on Umpires who should be doing T-Ball games. Thank God we have NHL for 9 months.
MLB showcasing the ump show that needs to GO
When the umpire told Riggleman he needed a sign when they showed him hold up 4 fingers and point to 1st...what more did the ump need?
I cherry-pick this argument as another reason why they just need to make them go back to throwing the damn baseball
He said something about not being able to hear Riggleman, which makes sense--given how loud the 13 people who show up to Reds games can be, you can barely hear yourself think.
Nice
It’s like they are showcasing their terrible umpires

R.I.P Tyler Skags 7:13
On the first play they tagged him in the hand when he was a foot off the bag
