I really like that years later, Bob Gale rewrote the BTTF 2015 to seem like the actual 2015. With drones, the internet, even the 1980s craze was spot on.
Drones was already in BTTF 2 because when Marty’s first entered Hill Valley in 2015 you can see a drone walking a dog.

Kind of weird that it went against the lore but does also make some sense. I guess what he really meant to say to Marty was not to jeopardize the timeline to make a profit. Cause Marty was going to bet on things in the past and could cause issues with others who were suppose to win originally or whatever. Also could change like Biff. But Doc went back and got some common and easily reprinatble comics that would be back on the shelf the next day to use for the Time Machine and funds for time travels later on. Would explain how he had the case of money during the second trip to 55. He converted it to different time period money for emergency funds. It was more for necessities money.
The issues from 1-4 are titled “Untold Tales and Alternate Timelines” so 1 story per issue is canon and the other is not canon. And how can he converted 2015 moneys into different money before 2015 because the money is unknown in those timelines.

@@Skater6453 It still doesn't make sense. If the 2015 money was never made in 1955 or any time period before 2015, how can you convert something into money before the time it was created? You can only convert the money before the year 2015.
@@Xounzy Im saying the case of money he had on the second trip to 1955. When they went to stop old Biff. After already going to the future. He could have converted the money he got from this comic in 2015 to past currencies for emergencies. If there was a place in 2015 that allowed him to do so. The money in his case was from the 1940's all the way up to 2000's. The future depicted in 2015 was hardcore about nostalgia, so its not hard to imagine that there could be some place that had out of print money from the past that he could convert his 2015 millions into.
@@Xounzytry it right now. Go try to buy old money. It’s possible. And really not that prohibitively expensive until you start going wayyyyy back. But it’s do-able.
Another thing Doc could do is get back to old money in increments. Let’s say we had a time machine in 2024. Buy some things and look at the cash (change). Eventually you should stumble upon cash close to 10 years old, the longest cash stays in circulation.
Go back to say 2015, the year of the oldest cash you found in 2024.
Buy some stuff. Get change back. The purchase power of the cash will be greater anyways. Find cash from 2005. Go back to 2005. Buy some stuff, get change.
Try to find 90’s money, go back to the 90’s, spend it, find 80’s money, and so on.
In fact Doc came from 1985 so he really should have some 70’s cash in his wallet. Go back to the 70’s, get some change from a purchase, try to find cash from the 60’s, go back to the 60’s, try to get cash back from the 50’s, go back to the 50’s, rinse and repeat.
As I said before the good thing is although you are spending money as you go backwards in time, the purchase power of the money you get back in cash goes up so the next purchase should get you an equal amount of goods, or close to it.
Crazy how the comic he wrote are the only most popluar ones, Bob Gale and Zemeckis really are the only ones who can tell a BTTF Story.
Doc : Marty, I didn't invent the time machine for financial gain! The intent here is to gain a clearer perception of humanity. Where we've been, where we're going, the pitfalls and the possibilities, the perils, and the promise.
He didn't actually use the money from the comic for financial gain. Doc simply needed a bit more money to acquire the necessary parts that would assist him in traveling through time more easiest. Once he purchased the parts, he essentially left the remaining money behind in 2015.
Loved the 1987 Buick Grand National at the carshow.

Yeah I think 1 of the comic per comic is canon and the other is a different timeline because of the comic title.
yeah, some of they are or at least media written by Bob Gale, one of the original writers, who also wrote the Telltale game

Well I can say in my opinion, is that the game isn't canon, its my opinion so do not get mad at me. Why it isn't canon because of certain things that wasn't continued the trilogy, like why did the DeLorean got ressurected? I understand why doc needed the time machine to be destroyed because of altering history and change of reality. Next is who is Edna? We never knew her until the game. That is all.
When Doc Brown travelled to 2015 for the first time, he was supposed to meet with Middle-Aged Marty McFly, but had to return to 1985 to bring in teenage Marty and save his son. We need the reason for such a drastic decision. We need to know why Doc Brown couldn't work something out with future Marty or Marty Jr, or if he did, why did it fail.
Who said that Doc didn't search up Marty McFly at the library in 2015 and than traveled back to October 26, 1985, in order to get Marty to save his future?

Not that it mattered I always wonder why Doc didn’t reinstall the OUTATIME license plate perhaps it melted or got crushed when the car reappeared after first time travel experiment. After he got modifications for Delorean he somehow registered & got barcode license plate in 2015.

If (Time-Travel) does become a reality someday, but you can only travel forward; How far into the future would someone want to travel to?
As the capability of the DeLorean or any type of time machine to travel beyond a 4-digit year is unknown, it's probable that the extension will continue until 12/31/9999.

I think because Action Comic #1 relate better because this is a comicbook, and more people know Action Comic #1 more than a Mickey Mantle's rookie card.
In the movie 'Frequency' items were "sent" to the future by hiding them in the floorboard for years.
This way they'd age to some degree.

He didn’t use it for monetary gain, he use the money to upgrade the time machine to make it easier to travel through time.

He used the comic money to buy parts for time travel to made it more easiest/safest if you don't have plutonium, then he keep some money from every time-period as a safety precautions, and left the rest in 2015 as seen in Issue #10 of IDW BTTF Comics.

@@Xounzy Never was said in the movies. But Gale did say the tell tale game is basically canon. But also Emmet never finished his hover technology anyway so it didn’t matter. It was more done as a pre cursor of what was to come with the Delorean. Doc actually saved Einstein by hovering right when young Emmet was talking about the future.

He didn't utilize it for financial gain; rather, he allocated the funds to enhance the time machine, rendering it more efficient to power and navigate.
