really need help finding the right hitch for a short box, 5'7" to use on a goose neck horse trailer, noted people tell me you can't turn with that type of trailer without hitting the crew cab!
I didn’t have to lower the tire. It would of made things easier, but I was being lazy. Of course my luck, my second bolt fell off as I was sliding it through the tube. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT FORCE THE PIECE THROUGH THE TUBE. It is a nightmare to fish out.

Can't help you there, never installed 5th wheel stuff.
So the cover over the big bolt won't stay on or will it
The factory one kept coming off. The hitch came with a cover, but I think I had thrown it out on accident with the packaging.

Good advice!
Does anyone know the name of the cap that goes on right in front of the license plate? Mine fell off and I can not figure out what it’s called
Pretty sure they call it a rear bumper step pad.
How reliable is this?? How much weight can I tow ?
Depends on your truck. If you install it according to the manufacturer's directions, this one can tow 6000 lbs gross trailer weight.
It’s a class three 500lb tongue weight.

Ha
I am
Planing to tow a 6x10 trailer with cabinetry and tools in it , would it be fine .
Should be unless you load it past the specs
My dumbass just uses the hole for the bolt on the bumper to tow 😬
🤞
Boat trailers and trailers
I pulled my boat with it. That's why I put mine on. Just make sure the weight is within the specs of the hitch.
