      It's actually not that hard. It's a compound word which means it's made up of other smaller words.

      @@Mrsuperdestroyer Yeah I noticed that too since he sounds different in later clips, it’s still very “rikssvenska” sounding to me but he stopped sounding like a robot. I don’t recognize the accent as northern but my definition of northern is norrbotten and we have extremely thick accents. His accent might be from mid/south norrland but pinpointing it would feel kinda creepy.

    Swedish is fun, like German. It’s almost English but not quite enough to understand first-go, like how English is almost German or Swedish but not really.
    Also Ike’s Swedish is like . . . really nice and soothing . . . and a tad hot

      @@kyokokay6015 they really do though. English is a Germanic language and shares a lot of its ancestry with German. It hasn't been around for nearly as long so people like to say it "borrows" a lot of German words. It also does this with Greek, Latin and French as well, but out of all of these German is it's closest ancestor and it's really easy to find commonalities between them.

      English is a germanic language and no we don't, we have a lot of added words to make sentences make sense. Except for German, but that is because they use grammatical cases like in Latin. But if you wanna see someone who really make long words it is Finnish, and that isn't a germanic language.

    It's funny, I'm a swede and looking at the word I think it's absurd but it's honestly not that hard to say or spell. Hypernervokustiskadiafragmakontravibrationer. It's just a combination of a bunch of other swedish words, if you split it up it'd be: Hyper nervo kustiska diafragma kontra vibrationer. So it's a word that's a combination of six other words.
    The real beast is this word: "nordvästersjökustartilleri-flygspaningssimulatoranläggningsmaterielunderhållsuppföljningssystemdiskussionsinläggs-förberedelsearbete", which when split up is: "nord väster sjö kust artilleri flyg spanings simulator anläggnings materiel underhålls uppföljnings system diskussion inläggs förberedelse arbete". So it's a combination of 17 words.

      Scientific words can get overly complicated and long in most languages. I think the worst cases of this I've seen is in German and Finnish.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis for example is the longest word in the English dictionary. In German we say Quarzstaublunge. Translated to English that would be quartz dust lung, which doesn't sound that amazing lol.

Longest is this: Lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikkoaliupseerioppilas. Its basically a whole sentence that is a single word because compound words has to be a thing.

    This was ESL (English as a Second Language class) when I just got to the USA.

    Swedish is a weird language because we can combine a bunch of words together to make one longer word. That's why there are some really long swedish words. Random example, in english you'd write "chicken liver" while in swedish you'd write "kycklinglever", you combine it in to one word.

    When he said that I just imagined watching a Swedish show in sub titles and one character asking someone, “what’s wrong with you?” And the guys says this and then when he’s done with the word the subs just pop up and say
    “……..hiccups”
