Nice. Also one thing that most advertising and reviews don't cover is how quick the filtration system gets clogged with fine dust. A poor system clogs fast and loses suction power. I hope you add testing for this. I have no idea to test for this maybe vacuum fine dust or flour until it loses 10%-50% suction pressure or cfm then weigh the captured dust.
Interesting idea, but it would be difficult to apply this consistently across different vacuums. Also, it would destroy a lot of expensive machines I have bought.
Great filter demonstration with the smoke machine! I'll have to see if I can do something like that for car cabin air filters, since some claim to be HEPA filters.

WHY did I just read reviews that all said that sharks broke after 4 or 5 months.
We haven't had a vacuum break yet, but I see some comments like this on some Sharks.
How About Vacuums With HEPA BAGS?
Most bagged vacuums have multiple filters including a HEPA filter, after the bag. The Kenmore canisters are excellent in this regard.
Which one do you recommend the Dyson v12 or v15?

A Kirby isn't a cheap vacuum. In fact, it's $2,600 - which is ludicrous.
