I don’t see the problem. Chinese, North Korean, and Iranian weapons are being used by Russia against Ukraine. What is the problem using foreign weapons against Russia?
Russian tv showed vigorous debates with the "hosts" divided between facing reality (Ukraine is tough, the territory is lost for maybe 6 months, worse bargaining position) and cherry forecasts with calls for Russia to "get tough". All saw that one major purposes was a psychological blow to both the people and the regime.
Because it’s better and safer for the USA and Europe to keep the war going than it is for Ukraine to win decisively. The longer Russia bleeds the harder it is for them to help China and the more China has to help them instead which means they have to wait before dealing with Taiwan.
Unless you come from some other planet, it should now be obvious that the offensive aimed at capturing the Kursk nuclear power plant is turning out to be yet another Zelensky military failure. Weak supply lines with no aerial support meant that the Kursk offensive was always going to be limited and that it will be easily contained by Russian battle group North inflicting heavy infantry and equipment losses on Ukraine. Moreover, as a direct consequence Russia's Central and Southern battle groups are meeting less resistance and are now on the verge of securing victory over the Donbass.
The EU/NATO has the supplies which will help Ukraine WIN, but only a small percentage are being provided and just as importantly with restrictions, which is one of the reasons this war hasn’t already ended.
What would be good is if the Ukrainians can take and hold the Kurchatov nuclear power-plant as they could a) disconnect it from the Russian national power-grid and b) the electrical power could be diverted to the Ukrainian power-grid.
