    Your videos provide a lot of ideas for fixtures, fitting parts and general knowledge for a lot of machinery.

    It is so nice to get a decent quality video with useful information. Thanks a ton! Can I recommend a fault-finding video by you on hydraulic issues on tractors. You know, testing all the right spots and analysing the problem to get to the fault.

    Very useful videos, Lance. I've got a 2140 that I'll probably have to split at some point. I'm in UK but worked in Bundy about 20 years ago as a mechanic at the Toyota dealer. It was all Land Cruisers!

      @@BundyBearsShed I'm not sure on how to take the gears out of the transmission because the spline coupling that connects the two shafts won't fit through the hole it has to be put on under the gears

    Hi Lance,
    Your videos are great and very informative. As someone who just recently inherited an 1830 John Deere with PTO issues your detail videos has given me the confidence to try to resolve the problem myself.
    And I am curious to ask your opinion of ,y pto issue. On the 1830 the PTO spins when the tractor first starts regardless of the pto lever is engaged or not. It will spin for say 20 seconds or so before stopping. I am guessing there is not enough pressure on the PTO brake when the tractor first starts that is the cause of the issue but wondering if you have seen this in the past?
    Thanks,
    Jon

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  4 года назад

      Yes reasonably common, you will find with a pto implement it probably wont do it. The PTO brake band gets worn.

      @@BundyBearsShedThanks for the confirmation. I run this tractor on some pretty light equipment such as a 3 point hitch garden tiller so it still spins away when I start it off. Thanks for your video I will at least know where to start to fix it!

    Hi Bundy,
    Got a question mate, I have a chamberlain 4280 tractor with hydraulic PTO and Hi LO trans. It seems very similar to what you have pulled apart.
    The other day slashing the paddock and the PTO just stopped working? Cutting fine one minute then nuthing, no crunch, wobble or grating? Checked the oil levels, linkages etc but nothing - No drive to the PTO.
    Have ya got any ideas on what the problem might be?
    Might be a Pull Apart for me soon?? Thanks. Jeff
