Nico: God, I'm so tired of constantly running back and forth from the batting cages to the bar! Coach: Win a game of pool then come back to see me. Nico: Great. Coach: I'll be at the batting cages when you're done. Nico: SONUVA...
If I could give one warning: one of the baseball missions is extremely annoying to beat, and if you fail it you’ll have to reload a save since you won’t be able to retry it. I recommend saving for every two or three missions you complete to avoid failing that mission.
*General Combat Notes:* Let’s talk more in depth with Shinada’s kit. I will be mentioning his barehanded combat as it still has uses and his heat actions are too good to miss personally. *First off foremost,* gun specifically Tech and Essence skill trees. Shinada desperately needs these because Essence upgrades help with his weapons _which you will be using a lot,_ and tech upgrades to make his barehanded combat not as bad to use. *It's way more important to get these than Soul or Body.* **A lot of Shinada’s Heat actions are new to you and honestly I want you to see them as they can help a lot and are cool to see.* *Second,* With specifically *Polearms, you can hold circle for an indefinite amount to do a special charge attack.* This is especially unique to Shinada _as no other character has it_ and it's good for crowds. Give it a try. *Third,* One handed weapons (Sturdy Iron Pipe) with Shinada have great horizontal range if you noticed. You are able to _reach pretty far to attack enemies safely,_ *meaning hit-stunning enemies to death is possible with it and pressuring bosses’ guards.* *Last,* I strongly recommend you to _make a stun weapon (preferably a polearm/knife version)_ and keep it in the back of your inventory. *Don’t use it unless you are facing an annoying enemy because Shinada struggles with not being able to handle BS enemies like Kiryu or Saejima rn.* Save its durability when you have to use it because you _will_ run into those enemies.*
Shinada's great not just cause he's a normal ass likeable goofy dude, but also because he really just has straight up some of the best substories in the series in my opinion. There's some really good stuff there. Also yeah, some important context for the baseball thing is just how huge baseball actually is in Japan. They really take it seriously over there, and you could probably find a fair number of cases where they go ballistic over it. Heck, just last year there was a case where a vtuber practically got fired over making an innocuous post about baseball.
When the guy hiring Shinada walks into his apartment the camera movement makes him look like an Oblivion NPC. I half expected him to say "Stop right there, Yakuza Scum! No one breaks the law on my watch!"
*General Notes:* Those prize tickets? There is a grand prize that is a Pearl in it *which is the only way to get one to invest into Kamiyama’s shop to unlock some stuff.* Since you want to put your resources into making weapons to gain the attack power advantage along with your infinite durability weapons, I would recommend to save scum for the pearl if you want. You usually get these tickets on the ground or by making large purchases, have like 20-30 tickets in hand to save scum.
I've been playing 5 again recently as well. One thing I've noticed is aside from weapons, Shinada's kit also heavily relies on his throws. Try pressing circle at the end of a combo. Like Square, Triangle, Circle or Square ×2, Triangle, Circle. They function a lot like Kiryu's bounding throws and if you can time it right, you can basically stunlock any boss to death. Best way to use em is dodge and get behind an enemy as they attack and then use the above mentioned combos but only land the last hit of the combo. Hitting them with the first hit of the combo makes them turn around and they may block afterwards.
Yeah there's a surprising amount of depth and tech to Shinada's hand-to-hand combat that people don't properly utilize and completely write off his combat unfortunately
Hold up, that bar Igarashi hangs out at... There were some Sonic music playing in the background including "Dreams of an Absolution" from Sonic 06 and "Vela Nova" from Sonic Rush! Weird... For those who don't know baseball, "Sign Stealing" is a form of cheating where someone observes the "Signs" (nonverbal hand gestures that team mates and officials use to communicate and strategize) of the opposing team and uses that to strategize. Sign Stealing is a bit interesting in that it is both legal and illegal depending on how it is done. For example it is legal for a Runner on second base to observe the Signs being given between the Pitcher and his team and in turn Sign to the Batter (it's on the other team to be subtle with their Signs), but it is illegal for the Batter to peak at the Signs given between the Pitcher and Catcher. Also, any form of mechanical or electronic Sign Stealing is illegal e.g. you can't look at the jumbotron to see what the Signs between other players are (well I mean you "Can" you just can't act on them).
Match fixing has been explored back in Kiwami 1 where Kiryu helped out this one fighter, the Jackal, who was being blackmailed. The shady guys were taking advantage of this by trying to fix the Jackal's upcoming match and have him throw the fight, leading to these guys getting profit from all the winnings on the bets, most of which are in favor of the Jackal.
It's so funny to me how canonically Shinada is supposed to be broke as shit and Akiyama is supposed to be loaded with cash. But on my first ever run I kid you not the first time I had a street fight I got a platinum plate, Then about 30 minutes later with Shinada I got another and was basically set for life. I genuinely think RGG played the cutscenes in the wrong order and no one paid enough attention to notice it.
@@deatheater6222 I know what a flashback is, but that single scene is so short, and we get the context so immediately that I don't think it was trying to build this sense of mystery. In fact it really doesn't do any for the pacing, which is why I think it's just in the wrong place.
Yeah let's ignore the context of the ball had signature and that masked man somehow was able to get the exact same ball after so many years. Almost as if it to show the connection that the masked man had that he knew the truth about the incident. Like do you even pay any attention at all?

Channel mod here. Heads up that “day # of asking for game” comments are considered spam here, so please refrain from continuing the count.
@@RandomBrowser347 oh sorry I'll stop
Nico streams games he doesn't want to play here. Maybe follow him on Twitch but I don't think that's his type of game
@richievillain6797 what type of game do you think honkai star rail is?
@@Ruby1Cat Nico’s not particularly interested in gatcha games, unless he somehow gets interested in the lore and checks it out on a whim he’s not likely to play them on a stream let alone lets play.
