Do you know if there are job opportunities for engineers? I am finishing up degree and will be working as a software engineer.

I am Canadian, I worked very hard to obtain my home, I now own an estate property backed onto a golf course and forest, it's been quite a journey, nothing came easy. If your willing to do what it takes you can own one too. I didn't have a big salary, I started by buying a small home then selling that, making a profit then buying bigger, then doing to again till I went from a 1100 square foot home to a 3,000 square foot home. Not all people that own big homes are rich, we most certainly are not, we just took the time to sell high in real estate booms and buy low somewhere else giving us more equity with each time.
Thank you for sharing. This is the way indeed.
The American dream is alive and well in Canada.

What I like about Canada is it has a very low population and that means you can give more space to nature and forests. Thats why I love canada cuz its always connected with nature
@Liberty Thats the western type of thinking my friend nature is indipendent and nobody needs to maintain u just need adapt and live in it. If Canada got to have huge population it will end up like India or China. So damn polluted, Ugly and dusty
Canada's land mass is huge but inhabitable land is small roughly 40-60% of Canada's population lives in Ontario and along the U.S-Canada border, nobody really lives in Northern Canada. Many parts of Ontario is densely populated.

actually with Global Warming the temps all over are becoming warmer. 5 AM here now and outdoors it is 34F or 2C. Summer time this past year had many days in the mid to high 80's F.
Come to Ontario in July and August when the temperature hits low 40 celcius with the humidity
@@allanguy2522 doesn't happen often here unless you count the humidex but true temp is lower. Osoyoos BC does hit 100+F however there is little if any humidity as the Okanagan is a true desert. Fabulous lakes though.

@ Life in Canada
Here's an idea . You can make a video about trailer settlement ( mobile homes estate ) . Europeans don't have something like that , it would be interesting for them to see that too . Also put prices next to those "houses" .
That's a good idea 💡 we have a few videos about that but haven't uploaded them yet.
Most Provinces don't want to have that type of housing as year round but you will find some summer residences that style but not for year round living. This particular to the most urban of areas whereas the summer locations are well away from any major city generally.
It’s so beautiful
thanks
In the first part of the video, it is what out in the suburbs look like where the houses are not cheap. Show people where the average worker lives in the city. When people come to Canada on their own, it will take years to afford to live in some of these homes. Tell people about how hard they have to work and the qualifications they need to get a good job. Show them the big cities.
islandgirl3330 I agree this is just showing the same neighbourhood. I dare this man to drive in downtown traffic and show the museum, art gallery, city hall, Eaton Centre. Much more interesting than looking at homes. Granted the province of Ontario is very clean as is the rest of Canada.
Exactly definitely NOT how all Canadians live. Those houses are pretty expensive
Compared to the Seattle area, these houses are fairly inexpensive. High end of the range he gave was $800K Canadian ≈ $615K American, and for that price in the Seattle area, you'd be lucky to find a place with half of the square footage.
@@jandp2941 nope -- that is how most of the people live because there are not the type of homes/trailer parks for living like in the US. If you live in a major city, the price goes up and in Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary & Edmonton and much of Mississauga the prices can be a lot more for the same and often much less home. Downtown Toronto, where the really old homes exist very modest semi detached homes can easily run $1.2 million while in the suburbs a home like was shown but obviously very much nicer would be in the same range. It is too bad that when he came across a For Sale sign he did not take down the address and then use www.realtor.ca put in the address and then view the home photos, room info, price etc and posted it in the description above comments. However, anyone that wants to see homes of various prices can just choose a town or city and go to the website and fill in purchase prices high and low and other parameters desired and look to your hearts content. In the cities, check out the Condos and prices and whether you want water views, etc. Have fun. You can search by known locations as long as you have the address and the city/town or simply work with price and choose a town which often will give more locations in an adjoining area.
@@phlotographer thank you replying ☺️I was told that the houses in the beginning of the video were very expensive...I don’t think all Canadians live like that 😮...(??)

In 2005 I wrote a (somewhat) famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. I was ahead of my time. The government essentially made me unemployable in the country. So I left and worked in the United States until 2014. I now permanently live in the Philippines. I would never go back to Canada for any reason: not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. In the last ten (10) years Canada has gone completely down the drain and is currently a North Korea style dictatorship. No freedom, too expensive, very high income tax . . . too depressing. I am happy here in Asia, with much friendlier people.
As a Canadian unfortunately I back this up. Don’t get me wrong Canada is great.. just not if ur an immigrant. I know way too many immigrants with the same problem. They just want to work and give back to the country, but for whatever stupid reason it’s always a struggle for them. Then because they can’t make money (because they can’t work) they end up having to leave. It’s really sad that they have to go through that it honestly pisses me off. I know a doctor and his family that are trying to work. This guy is a DOCTOR and we are in NEED of doctors. He just wants to bring service to the country and feed his family, and he’s been wanting to for years. It’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t compare it to North Korea tho cuz it’s not that bad lol, but it definitely could do better.

My taxes go to making sure the roads are paved and clean, I can go to a doctor if I need one, my kids can get decent schooling, I can go on EI if I lose my job. It helps out my fellow citizens and maybe gives some of them a better quality of life. And yes, some of it goes to foreign aid. I don't begrudge any of those things and I gladly pay my taxes. The "I'm all right Jack and f--- you" mentality can stay in the States. I'm not that selfish.
You should've taken the drive around the neighbourhood from the point of view of the snowplow in the end of January. Look, this man just cleared his driveway....not anymore HA HA!
This happens to us every morning after a snowfall
LOL!!! Canadian horror story. I don't know how many times that's happened to me.
Wait, canadians live?
What's an American doing watching this?
Be respectful it’s way better than America

@@creativedream7395 My city which is Boston is better than where you live
Looks like any other Atlanta neighborhood

Very nice homes and places
Hello, I was in the comment section when I came across yours and i was thrilled to say Hello to you.
Why houses in canada are so expensive????😑😑😒
And the average salary is relatively low compared to the US which makes it even worse.
@@briwanginfo You're both wrong. The US average salary is only a couple thousand more than Canadas. The exchange rate may be higher, but relative salary is similar. educate yourself before you make statements.
Dollarbill1210 That’s actually incorrect. While some professions in USA make more, most base salaries in Canada are higher than USA.
Depends on where you live, outside of major cities is much less expensive
@@briwanginfo Depends on the job, government jobs in the US are very low paying compared to Canada, plus we have real health care and we don't need to carry a gun, money is far down the list if you compare the 2 countries.
Hi, Keep up the amazing publishes you do. I’m a new RUclipsr. Stay safe and Happy Holidays!!
Thank you. Happy Holidays to you too!
Born and raised in Ontario myself, I’ve never considered Uxbridge a small town LOL!! Damn sure it’s expensive but Ontario has so many more beautiful small towns to enjoy 😊
Well, compared to towns like Richmond Hill it is a small town. And I agree with you on other much smaller and nice towns in Ontario )
How can you possibly consider Uxbridge to be anything other than a town?
@@6JCD SMALL town, that was the key word there. Uxbridge of course is a town, but it certainly doesn’t have that ‘small town’ kind of feel or appearance. I’m sure it does feel that way compared to cities like Toronto, Richmond Hill as previously stated or Hamilton, but by no means is it a sleepy little rustic kind of town. Then again I’ve always been more of a country guy
Looks way better and cleaner than California where it's turning into a homeless encampment , not to mention lots of trash dumping everywhere. Our cities in California especially Oakland and near by cities are looking more like a 3rd world country.
It is sad to hear I've been to few places in California and I loved it.
