go on youtube and search vertigo gothic. Vertigo is a guy that did a review like days ago and it's so similar. Silverz_FX copied and pasted the content from there(at least the ideas on what to look for, which is the most important bit). he just reworded and added some other bits of info to make it look somewhat different. Silverz_FX are you gpt 5.0(joking)?
@@sliverz_fx It cuts off early but the original transformation spells all had the hero wiggle down into a squatting position and this looks pretty spot on in that regard.
Great review m8! Besides the land and other details i wanna know how the hero will lvlup? How he will learn his skills? In Gothic1&2 way, which is 100% realistic OR via some menu like in modern rpgs? Also, what about various indicators, for maps, quests etc? We will have them like in modern games? I hope not. For me, these are some of the Gothic 1&2 qualities has, which makes them unique and 100% pure rpg up to this day! Improve things like graphics, combat system, and things like that, is desirable 100% (WoW vanilla fans are crazy!), BUT i hope they wont mess up with what makes that game unique and realistic!
@@sliverz_fx My point, take for example 'New balance' mod... has everything i desire for G2 without breaking the immerse feeling of he game, on the contrary, it gave a nice boost!
A bit late to the party :D But I have rewatch so many gameplay and other videos of this game haha. Anyway is it only me or does the mage here 05:29 not look like a "younger" version of the actor Gabriel Byrne? Would be cool if he was in this.
35:50 There IS maps to guide. and NPC-s told you what to do! I REALY REALY hope they dont even think of a minimap, and a WoW stile questlog! If "newer generations" dont like it they can play something else .... like .. almost any game
There is a map, that you have to find or buy yes. But at the start you have nothing. And I don't want any minimap or anything. Keep the UI clean as possible. HP and mana bar, and maybe something else of importance and that's it.
This is a personal opinion but I feel like the game is too dark , I don't remember gothic putting a importance on the dark rooms and environment Also the underwater scene could be a couple of places the xardas tower , the lake in front of new camp or it could be under the bridge from old camp to swamp camp at the orc mine I forgot what it was there A big win in my book is bow can finally hit stuff 😂
Yes plenty of spaces with water, but I couldn't identify it. Also if you put the game video settings on normal and try playing it on an AMOLED display, you will see how dark the game can get. :D
In the beginning he should not be able to swim, this should be something you learn. When hes thrown in the water at the start he sinks and a guy dives in puts a rope around his ankle and they winch him out with the wooden winch. He leans how to swim from a water mage novice later on, that way deep water would be a barrier in the start
Bro that’s ass I’m sorry. People learn to swim at such a young age. Nameless is like in his late 20s early 30s at least. Im confident in his abilities to swim perfectly fine
There are parts of the Story wich require you to swim, i think if you need to spend Learningpoints or something else for this, this won´t be a good idea
6:00 a Mercenary armor???? Wutt? (first of its not G2) Its a black armor with a huge sleeper symbol on the middle ... I'm pretty sure its a high tear Templar armor, or some other armor Xardas give you or something.
I think this was one of the best overviews of the showcase I've seen so far. And I've seen a lot of them.
I'm glad you liked it

Interesting approach with +- points. Thank you for the video!
Glad you liked it good sir :)
Great job really breaking it down. This is all i want from the remake. And this kind of conent is holding me over really well
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it!
4:52 from my point this is a meatbug transformation before the gate to old monastery
Hey, that could also be it. It might be a weird looking transformation then :D

Finally! Good analysis brother!
You watched that quicker than i thought. ⛏️😶🌫️🔥
@@sliverz_fx Still watching, but the first 5 minutes convinced me you got an eye for the details :)
Well done!
Thank you 🎉
31:32 This is just speculation of course, but it looks a lot like us being able to enter the old mine again, after it has been flooded.
Better late than never brother in Innos! 🎉
indeed
31:10 Quentin's camp maybe?
I was thinking about that today. Definitely a possibility.
3:21 bruh, heven't you ever heard about minecarts?
@@dragoryuu9506 yes, I couldn't think of the word. English being my third language i get stuck sometimes xD
3:33 a temple of doom mine cart ride would be epic. Maybe thats how he will escape the flooded mine? Lol
That would be epic! 😁😂

no :)

What ? ... you could dodeg in the original just release the action button,
They improved that with later versions. I remember I wasn't able to dodge anything in years before steam updated the game.

maybe i'm just confusing it with G2 (cos i just replayed it)

when Gothic 2 the returning mage path
gameplay?
I've already done it in the playthrough :)

Wouldn't that be too much? Especially for a thief? Learning to swim in his 20s? :)

I was waiting for your review omg i wasn't the only one who saw the latin / Spanish in the book. WHAT KIND OF SORCERY IS THIS?
You never expect the Spanish inquisition. :)

I wasn't quite sure. Details are hard to point out when it's just a 2 second clip. But you're probably right. Should be Templar armor.
