This was the longest video I have made for this guide, if I count the amount of time spent recording. But it's also condensed together in to a shorter video, only because Chapter 7 has been removed from future updates for this mod, now called New Balance 4.0.
I just finished Chapter 7 and it was nice addition imho. Yes, the invulnerability of orcs was honestly annoying. But removing the whole thing seems big. Also I thought that previously you ahd the information that 2.0 is the "final" version :D Is there a plan to extend NB2 more in the future? :)
I'm not sure if you can help me somehow. I am currently on this chapter but I've never done any quests related to Fort Azgan in the past. I killed the paladins early on at the entrance near Dexter and the quests forces me to go there in order to talk to Hagen. Any idea how I get access to the area? It seems blocked for me.
@@sliverz_fx I was afraid of that. Any idea how to use the cheat to force myself in the Fort? I read that marvin is activated via the pause/break button but my keyboard does not have that. any ini file I can edit? And how would I use the console in order to go to the Fort. I'm unsure if there is a list of cheats seeing how anti marvin returning has been haha. Thank you for the help in the mean times!
Unless you have an ultra small keyboard, every keyboard should have a pause button. There is no other way to get into marvin without it in this mod I'm afraid. 1. pause the game. 2. type marvin and press escape. 3. Press K to jump through walls. 4. Press F3 to close marvin. There is nothing you can do with the ini file. The modders made sure you cheat as little as possible in this mod. I'm not even sure if you can get to the other side through fort Azgan without the quest. In example when going to the Valley of Mines, once you end up on the other side without doing the pre-requesits it says "no cheating allowed", has a countdown and it pushes you back to the main menu without saving :) That's why most of the content in this mod is sort of linear.
@@sliverz_fx Ah alright, I have a 75% keyboard and the upper buttons are replaced by something else I''m afraid. I'll deem the playthrough finished then and move on as I technically killed the undead dragon. If I replay it at some other point I'll make sure to keep the paladins alive :)
Can you get the blessing of Adanos if you haven't done all the quests in Plateau of the Ancients? I did the PotA in wrong order and couldn't get the stone plate of the mage and therefore didn't open the temple... that was in Chapter 2...
@PopizzdioJazz Then use Marvin to get the stone tablet if nothing else works. 1. Pause the game and type Marvin. 2. Unpause and press F2 to open the console. 3. type INSERT ITMI_RUNEADANOS or INSERT ITMI_RUNEADANOS_02, depending on which one is missing. 4. Press F3 to close marvin and pick the items from the floor. 5. Win the game?
do you know why i cant start the sleeper quest. ive talked to netbek, killed ur thrall and got the blessung of adans. i camt kill creole aand i cant geet the aleeper quest
There are spears only with dexterity and you get them from beginner attributes to master one like i have in this video. :) Unless i misunderstood your question.
@@ockblogt3387 The Nightingale armor is in the game, it can be obtained only in chapter 5. After completing all of the guardians quest, in chapter 5 Tarinax (The warrior from the first guardians quest) will have a small quest and after he will teach you to make the either a strength or dexterity armor (your choice) (dexterity is the Nightingale armor). But now that the guardians have been removed, not sure if this information is relevant.

nope. Once you start the game the options you choose at the start are baked into the game :)

If you killed the paladins, you cannot get in there unless you're using cheats. :)

It's a pretty vague descritpion of why you cannot get it. I would need to look at your save file. You can send it to me on discord if you wish.
Another question: for 2hand dex there are only speers. Are there cool valid speers?
There are spears only with dexterity and you get them from beginner attributes to master one like i have in this video. :) Unless i misunderstood your question.
It is very cool that there are armors Like the daedra or dragonbone from Skyrim. Do you know that there is the nightingale armor as well?
I haven't found it yet then :). Yes the dragonbone armor can be forged by Bennet. Where you get the nightingale one?
