I'm not crazy about a loud stereo either but like to hear all the speakers play the last cherokee I had hit a bump and it was like the audio would cycle from one speaker to the next before replacing all the speakers but glad I did it at the time
Been doing the same thing for my 97. You won’t regret the axel swap. I was lucky enough to have a great friend who builds jeeps in Miami Oklahoma. Jeepers and Creepers. Johnny found a guy who rolled his 2017 Rubicon and we put the Dana 44s with the E-Lockers in and man what a tremendous upgrade.
Nice video...enjoyed the music. What glue are you using for your headliner? Bear in mind when applying deadener...you only need to cover 60% of the metal surface to get 95% of the deadening results. Helps save a little $ and weight.

I'm considering purchasing it for both my doors and roof (because I'm a quiet kinda guy), was curious how well you feel it works? It'd be cool to see a phone decibel test from highway road driving that I could then compare against my stock '99.
I’m looking to put a double din radio in my 98. Anything I should be worried about as far as what I need the double din to include or recommendations? I’m trying to install one with a backup cam also.

It made a huge improvement! I don’t have the Jeep anymore but the next Cherokee I build I will do it again.

Most double dins are up to par these days. Of course I would recommend alpine

The dome lights and rear speaker enclosure look like 1996 models. Maybe they had some leftovers they needed to use up.😂😂

I do but it is different then the 98 pretty sure it needs the 96 style!
Does your plastic interior squeak alot inside? Is there a remedy?
Find some small black or dark gray backer Rod and stuff it in btw interior pieces.
How many skins did you need to buy to do the floor area
I haven’t done the floor yet just the roof, it took about 13 sheets I’m hoping the floor will be about 20
