    HELLO. This trial is great. Everybody is bothered from rectifier and voltage regulator, it sound like protection from malfunction but it works not to get big energy from alternator. Your trial is a breakthrough. If you turn the pulley faster by machine, this alternator can have much more voltage and current. I was encouraged.Thank you!

    A quick way to drill holes with a consistent set depth, 1: find the desired depth 2: drill first hole to depth then stop drilling 3: with the drill bit stopped and in the hole, wrap some masking tape around the drill bit's circumference at the surface of the material being drilled 4: back the bit out of the hole and start drilling the other holes. The masking tape is easily removable, won't damage the bit and clean up is a breeze. Heat and tapping compounds might cause the tape to melt or slide off so you might want to think about using different types of tape or permanent markers/paint to mark the depth on the bit.

    The rotor should have contained a larger magnet for higher flux density. The rotor is too heavy and more metal should have been removed from the same. Also you should have lubricated the same so that it rotates faster.

    Не чередуй полярности магнитов !!! Ты так меняешь полярности с высокой частотой и получаешь микроволновую печку внутри меди. Электроны то к минусу, то к плюсу. А тебе нужно заставить двигаться электроны по меди в одном направлении. Поэтому все магниты должны быть направленны однополярно, только тогда это работает.

    • @mgabrielle2343
      @mgabrielle2343 Год назад +1

      There is a limit as to how much thicker a wire can be as the current is not determined by the thickness of the wire but by the strength of the magnets, so if your magnets can only produce 1 amp then it does not matter if you have 1mm dimeter wire or 2mm thick wire it will only produce 1 amp or may be just a tiny fraction more due to the resistance to 1 amp current flowing through the wires, Power Generation is the product of the strength of magnetic field and speed of rotation, voltage is proportional to number of turns and strength of the magnets and the speed of the rotor. And nothing comes out of nothing, so if you wanted more power then you also need more input power to spin, (Torque)

    The set of windings from which power comes is THE STATOR as the winding is stationary.
    You won't get the power from this as you would with an excited rotor winding and you can't

You should have removed the bearing, cleaned the rotor, install the bearing into the back case, then install the rotor(after lubing the shaft in the bearing area.

  • @peterbetts8740
    @peterbetts8740 Год назад

    Car alternators need to spin at very high revs to make even just 12 Volts. While on the car they will be 'geared up' and be running at 2 or 3 times the speed of the engine.
    We are talking 10 to 20 thousand rpm - just to get 12 Volts
    A much better conversion would have been to leave the brushes and the rotor coil intact and power it from a single diode connected from the output of the stator coil.
    This would be after removing the original stator coils, noting how it was wound, then re-winding it with some much thinner wire.
    This will give more volts and at lower rpm - making the resulting generator much more useful.
    Rewind it as was, as a star connected 3-phase and connect your diode from one of the phases and back to the centre point of the star. Or make a 3-phase bridge if you prefer.
    It will self-excite and the existing rotor coil will make a much stronger magnet than the permanent magnets ever could - giving you greater output.
    Get as much wire into the stator as possible, every extra turn is worth more volts
    Do not be greedy and expect mega mega output. For a machine/device like that, self-excited as it will be, do not *ever* hope for more than 200 Watts - but at least it will give measurable volts and useful power if built into a wind turbine.

    Well how you solve problem over charging lead acid baterrys? Do you add external voltage regulator? What wuld hapen if you use bouth magnets and field coil together?
    Wuld they cancel ich other out as in magnetic field?

    Very good, tente retirar todo rotor e, faça um novo rotor de madeira com imãs de neodímio maiores! O ferro freia o gerador!

    Good to put some baking soda on the glue for filling the gaps and assuring it dries correctly

    Hi Electron, this modification on the car alternator should produce much more energy,maybe some of the copper coils are in short circuit... 👍

      Perhaps the magnets are not strong enough to generate more on this RPM? The electromagnet inside the rotor was pretty strong when the brushes provided power for it.

    I really like your work Mr Electron. Can this be also used as a brushless motor? Thanks
