I opened for MF at the old ROXY in Charlotte NC about 1980. The most precise, energetic, power house of a band I’d ever seen!!! love their funk rock sound!!!
I saw Mothers Finest play warm up for The Who in about 1975 and they were amazing. I was ready to leave after their set as there was no way The Who could top what they did.
That happened to alot of people. I watched them smoke Humble Pie at the Agora in Columbus Ohio in 1975! You know you nasty when youre the feature and the sound man turns you up to headliner level!!! Wizard,BB,Mo,Glen,Mike and Jean!!! Truth Will Set You Free
We opened the mini shows for mother's finest Nantucket,& PKM. They were all class acts. But there'll always be a special place in my heart for mothers finest
I saw them one night in between maybe 76-79, one night at the Masonic Auditorium, in DETROIT, with Brick, it was STUPID. MF, Miss Joyce, Wizard, ,I can never remember dudes name on guitar with beard, still the same core. Wizard on BASS , Ray Ransom , on BASS with Brick. A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT.
Mothers Finest Live, **** Give you all the LOVE is always in my heart.. But this is not what they really were. Everyone has to finisch and go on!! Breaking down the wall. GO ON..
Great performance (video quality not the best) Joyce is amazing at 76 years old! I saw them last year, she worn the same ‘coffee’ shirt, she must like coffee.
