I love these pens, but am never quite sure what to do with them. The answer seems to be to be braver! Thanks Toby! A couple of tips, which I learned the hard way: Don’t shake them with the cap off. Don’t take the cap off while holding the pen over your paper - I got a big black drip right in the middle of the page from one of the small pens recently from doing this.
Thanks for this info on Posca Pens Toby!! I find Posca pens are good with urban sketching and watercolour when adding small sign writing on buildings etc.
This is great! After hearing the buzz about Posca markers.. I’ve bought a small set. I think you are the right person to help with new skills. Also- I must add, in the mid 80’s, I was a kid -using a new thing called “Deco pens” they are very similar to the Poscas and I can tell you some of the things I used the deco pens on are as vibrant as it was 40 years ago! Crazy right? I had used it mostly as a decorative tool.

Not sure of you've heard of montana markers Toby, theyre refillable with your own choices of acrylic paint, including your own mix. I know sustainability is important to you and you like refillable options, so thought i'd mention the option.
Thank you for showing me how Posca pens work. Have a great weekend and week.😊

What a good replace choice. Cheap and easy to draw, and it's nice

Thanks Toby, I love seeing you use different materials. Have you tried using Neocolor 2?
Yes I have - I did a video or two with them too :)

That's great to hear - I'll be googling them later today, thank you very much!
Can I use them on normal A4 paper ? Or do I need only watercolour paper ? I do not want the paper to bleed !
