    INGREDIENTS:
    Milk (full fat): 3 litres
    Sugar (Optional) 1 tsp
    Yogurt (at room temperature) 3-4 tbsp
    Bring the milk to a boil and then let it simmer for 30 minutes on low flame. After 30 minutes let the milk to cool down at room temperature, the temperature needs to be around 40-45 degree. Mix the yogurt with few tbsp of milk and add the mixture into the milk. Cover with warm towel and let it rest for at least 8-9 hours or over night. refrigerate for 3-4 hours and then its ready to be served.
    You can mix some dry or fresh mint with cucumber and little bit of garlic to prepare a really yummy dipping yogurt sauce.
    مكونات:
    الحليب (كامل الدسم): 3 لترات
    سكر (اختياري) 1 ملعقة صغيرة
    زبادي (في درجة حرارة الغرفة) 3-4 ملاعق كبيرة
    يُغلى الحليب في الغليان ثم يُترك على نار خفيفة لمدة 30 دقيقة على نار هادئة. بعد 30 دقيقة ، دع اللبن يبرد في درجة حرارة الغرفة ، يجب أن تكون درجة الحرارة حوالي 40-45 درجة. امزجي اللبن مع قليل من ملاعق كبيرة من اللبن وأضف الخليط في الحليب. غطيها بمنشفة دافئة واتركها تستريح لمدة 8-9 ساعات على الأقل أو أثناء الليل. يبرد لمدة 3-4 ساعات وبعد ذلك جاهز للعمل.
    يمكنك خلط بعض النعناع الجاف أو الطازج مع الخيار والقليل من الثوم لتحضير صلصة الزبادي اللذيذة حقًا.

    This is the perfect homemade yogurt recipe which I have been doing for many years, I was just curious how other people do theirs and this was the one relevant to mine !!! I definitely recommend this.

      abfatie abfatie ABSOLUTELY !!! I cook I bake ... I use instead of sour cream and if you add little milk or water it’ll become buttermilk

      Proximity Symbol No fabric buttermilk is real buttermilk these days. They just add culture to normal milk what gives it the taste of buttermilk. This is cheaper for them to make

    Thank you for the recipe. My mother-in-law used to make homemade yoghurt and she would say keep your finger in the milk & count up to 10. If the milk gets hot at 10 then it is the right temperature.

      the right temp for bacterial growth is 43 to 46 deg centigrade, if you keep this temp you get good yougart right after 7 hours

    That is the most thick yogurt I have ever seen produced. Does it create whey? It seems not to from the way it looks in the video. I noticed too you didn't strain it, why is that?
    I have to know, is the consistency more like a cheese or is it silky and smooth like a custard consistency? It looks so delicious. Thanks for the informative video. I can't wait to try this!!! I can imagine it with so many delicious toppings, I think my favorite is dates and honey!
