I definitely got this video on repeat today!! You know I can appreciate your process greatly, and a couple of your lures still go to work in Wisconsin! Beautiful moss agate/jasper!! Even the fish smile!!!
Most of the lures I've made are either top water or float at least a little. I've always been concerned if they sank like a rock I wouldn't own them for long. LOL Very nice job!
Yeah these rock lure definitely sink like a rock 😅 but I have caught a few fish with them so far. I just test the arefor snags and other objects in the water before using them just in case 😁
Can't wait to see the action because of the flat side I don't think it will spin, I say this because I've used spoons all my life and love the idea of this as a future project thanks for the idea and I look forward to your next video
I do already have a couple videos of catching fish with other rock lure I made, it don't have that much action with a flat back but there fun to use 😁 & thanks I appreciate it 🎣🍻😊
@@406findings well if you want to give it it's famous spinning as a spoon you got to make it curved shaped and basically just scoop out one side I hope I'm not sounding rude in any way I have a lot of big ideas and seeing this got the gears going I hope you're night is well
Can you see through it? It looked like it had agate in it also 😊 . Do you ever make them out of a clear agate? Or is that just calsadony.? I'm not sure if they are the same thing.
You can't really see through it to well because the color and thickness. It is fully agatized and it was a pain to cut 😅. I do make them out of all sorts of material and some are clear calsadony and or agate.👍
Hope everyone enjoyed today's video 🎣🍻

@TerryApel-il7xx your ok 👍 I did want to carv out the back but it's a lot of work and I was just doing these at decorations at first.
Though I will stick to thread, feathers, fur, and tensile 😎
Ha ha yeah it's not your normal lure but they do work! I have a couple vids of catching fish with a rock lure.🎣
Beautiful spoon! How many ounces does it weigh? Looks like you could cast that halfway across the yellowstone easily, which is Awesome!!! 🍻🐟🎣
I'll have to weigh it and let you know 👍 but If I can't catch them with it at least I can knock them out with it 🤣🎣🍻
@@406findings 🤣 that's true!
Cool. What size it the stencil for your lure?? Thanks
I model them after the 3/8 oz Thomas cyclon lure 🎣
