I unplugged the brake booster hose and the rpm stays same no change. Shouldn't the rpm rise because I am introducing more unmetered air? I am totally confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve got a beetle that’s popping the lean code right now and I just had a massive repair done to it. I can’t help but feel that since I’m a woman, I’m being taken advantage of. It seems every time I get it back from the mechanic it’s something else. I’d rather go to the doctor and get bad news than even take my car to the mechanic (because I’m always told something is going on and that kicks off a cycle of chasing problems with it)
