The scene Mobius shows Loki of the time he hi-jacked a plane because of 'a bet with Thor' actually happened. The guy got his money, jumped from the plane and was never caught. It even inspired a chain of restaurant/bars called D.B. Cooper's. They had great strawberry daiquiris.
Yeah, the character and the mystery of who exactly was this unknown man that was never caught(?) is a popular real person to be worked into fictional stories. Before Loki the most recent example I remember is from the tv show Prison Break where DB Cooper was supposedly a prisoner during the first season(I believe if my memory is correct, there’s an episode of Newsradio had it revealed to have been Batman…or the man best known for being Batman back then, Adam We(st). To be fair, if Batman tried to pull off the perfect robbery and get away with it, the DB Cooper example seems fitting. 🤷♂️). I’m sure there’s likely plenty more, but I can’t remember any examples personally/off the top of my head(And I’m not counting jokes like in Breaking Bad or stories where it turned out the suspect WASN’T actually the legend(wait for it…) ary DB himself).

I never realised that Loki is singing in Norwegian, even as a Swede I could understand it. Loki does it quite good for not speaking norwegian otherwise.
That's crazy! As a Norwegian i never even caught that lol. Tbf this is only the second time im watching it. I thought because he started singing in English he sang some old English or some weird language. Also there was only 4 words that was Norwegian. But his pronunciation was really good actually.
I agree. For the longest time, I considered it the second best of all the Marvel series(I had Wandavision in top spot with Loki ranking a VERY close second). But after its second season released, it moved up into the top spot in my personal rankings(a placing it continues to hold still to this day). It also manages to have the best musical scoring in the MCU besides the main Avengers theme and the main theme from Guardians of the Galaxy, with a theme that evokes the Norse people with it’s strings, the TVA with it’s retro sci-fi synth instruments, and a truly epic feel throughout, with music worthy of a tale about a mythological Earth god acting to protect the entire timeline of the whole universe. 🤯(it already felt epic, and yet somehow they managed to make it even more grand/epic in the climax for the 5th episode of the first season. 😎🤘)
To be honest I'm not very hard-core fan of loki series, It's just a mid show. It opened the door for infinite possibilities which gives the infinite liberty to directors and writers to show anything absurd and justify on the name of timeline, multiverse and varients. A degree of predictability makes any show more interesting but this concept of multiverse and timelines makes any random event which doesn't even make any sense.
@@deependrapratapsingh7649 It's an amazing show, very high quality. It's not about multiverse, it's about Loki's struggle with his destiny vs free will.
I think that the variant-processing that they go through is so they can tell who'll make good TVA staff. Those who just do as they're told can have their memories wiped and be trained for whatever purpose they need.
Fun fact: Ms Minutes is voiced by Tara strong, who is a famous voice actress who has voiced, among others, Dil Pickles from Rugrats, Barbara Gorgon/Batgirl amongst several media, Timmy Tunrer from Fairly Odd Parents, Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls, Ben Tennyson from Ben 10, Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony, Raven/Batgirl/Harley Quinn in Teen Titans Go!, as well as Ted's "I love you" voice built into him in the Ted movies. She's also voiced a ton of video game characters, with Rikku from Final Fantasy X/X2 being her most famous, alongside Harley Quinn in Batman Arkham City onwards.
One thing you should know, IN the show Sylvie isn't exactly the same person as Loki. They share the same status of god of Mischief because they lived the same life. In the show they combined Sylvie and lady Loki who also appeared in comics, together to provide better character arcs

Many people come into Marvel not knowing the history of the comics where things come from. The TVA is a metaphor for the Marvel Comics Editorial Department back in the 1970s and 1980s that was in charge of maintaining continuity between the various comics. Mobius M. Mobius was actually modeled after the real life Marver editor Mark Gruenwald and Tom DeFalco. Gruenwald use to be part of a team of writer/editors that were responsible for maintaining continuity between the comic titles. In the comics Marvel has used the TVA to clean up stories and make them fit the overall narrative for the comics.

You forgot to watch Falcon and the Winter Soldier. There's no problem in posting the reaction to the Sam and Bucky's series later but watch them so you don't get confused by skipping an important part of the MCU's chronological order.
They've asked a number of times whether or not all the shows are worth watching so it's up to patreon people. My guess is, they'll get to it before Cap 4 regardless but TFatWS was the absolute weakest series until Secret Invasion. Mostly because of the awful villain and the final episode overall. The US Agent character is a nice addition though.
It’s a very different track for the MCU though. Falcon is the more general heroes without actual powers MCU storyline track along with Black Widow and then Hawkeye. This track is more the magic track with WandaVision, Loki, Doctor Strange 2 MoM, Agatha All Along and Loki 2
I see what you mean, I think there is a strong connection between Dr. Strange 2, WandaVision and Loki, but I also think it is important that they watch the Falcon serie to understand the next Captain America movie that will be released soon.
The TVA is a huge thing in the multiverse Saga. It will play a huge role going forward, which is why in my previous comments I said watch the legacy Marvel movies as they would be reference. A few reactors are doing that as they are watching phase 4 and 5.
Loki in the first episode flashback was DB Cooper, a real famous criminal. He boarded a plane, told the flight attendant he had a bomb, the plane landed, and he gave some demands. He demanded a fueled plane, a pilot, and a lot of money. He recoeved his demands, the plane took off, and he jumped off the plane (I believe with a parachute) with the money somewhere over the Pacific Northwest. DB Cooper(or his body) and the money were never found. He's a famous (or infamous, depending on your persuasion) "got away" criminal.
After you watched Doctor Strange and the multiverse of madness you should watch Agatha all along as long as the memories of WandaVision is 'fresh' in your minds
I'm happy you like "wandervision" and "loki". maybe these two are the best disney+ marvel shows. but the others are not bad. every show is different and could also be something for you. every show introduces new characters (backstory) for later marvel movies and shows.
Falcon is a totally different storyline in the MCU than what they just watched with WandaVision. They should just do the magic story line stuff, cuz they won’t be able to do a watch along for the new Captain America for a few more months anyhow
The timeline where loki was the same one as before. the avengers knew where to find the stones because they went to the past on their own timeline. The point where he took the tesseract is where that timeline split into 2.
These comments are really obnoxious. You don't need to watch all the shows, and definitely not exactly in the order they released. That's a recipe for getting burned out of Marvel. Don't listen to them and just watch whatever interests you.
Please hush. They are watching Marvel at a weekly basis. There is no burnout lol. Watching "whatever interests" them without some sort of guide is just going to lead to confusion when they watch something crucial out of order.

😮Season 1 of Loki was so good. I haven't actually watched Season 2, so I need to get on that. Quynh is so funny and smart in these reactions with you. You guys seem so great together, and pretty much every time I hear Quynh say "I don't know how to say it, but..." I think "Girl, same.. I don't know how to explain it either" I'm glad you guys are doing the Marvel shows. You CAN'T skip Agatha All Along!!! (Side note: I just tried to figure out how to phonetically spell "I don't know how to explain it either," based on how I actually say it out loud in real life, and I think the closest iteration is something along the lines of: "ahdunno howta essplainit neither" LMFAO no wonder my coworkers in Colorado tease me for my "hillbilly" Appalachian accent sometimes 😂😂)
I think it’s not that there’s a single choice or direction it’s just that when you create a significant adjustment compared to the ‘sacred’ overall timeline then the TVA undoes that one
Why? BW takes place during 2016 in MCU, FATWS during 2024. BW was supposed to be released first, but Covid19 messed things up. Watching them in the original planned release order IMHO makes more sense; nothing in FATWS is mandatory for understanding 99.9% of BW…
3:34 The Flash at 1/16th speed would just be Quicksilver. Well, he'd actually still be many many times faster, but it sounded funnier this way in my head.
I can't believe you neither of guys got the D.B. Cooper reference. Those weren't The Time Keepers with Stan Lee at the end of Guardians 2. They were The Watchers, totally different Marvel characters.
I think you guys should 100% watch Falcon and Winter Soldier. There are links to so many conversations you had that I don’t want to spoil but it’s so specific to your reactions that I feel deprived of not seeing it!
Loki is a narcissist. The only person he could truly fall in love with is another version of himself. That's why they are attracted to each other after the initial infighting. Many Marvel shows and films are produced at Trilith Studios near Atlanta, including Loki. They use nearby locations when possible. The TVA offices were shot at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis hotel, which was closed for the pandemic. The Georgia Renaissance Festival site was used for the ren faire scenes. Ironically the Tennessee Valley Authority (the other TVA) supplies some of Atlanta's power. Tara Strong, a well known voice actress for video games and cartoons, plays Miss Minutes in this show. For fun she sometimes cosplays characters she has voiced at conventions. Then she amazes people who recognize who she is dressed as by sounding exactly like them . 😂
LOKI is my ALL TIME favorite MCU show..can't wait for you guys to watch season 2 already😅 39:43 fun fact: Loki in the Norse Mythology can change genders like a clown fish.
I have no interest in most other Marvel projects but as long as you’ve seen the first Avengers and preferably Thor 1 this series will still make sense. Like, I get that people get excited and insistent about watching EVERYTHING Marvel but you really don’t have to if you don’t want to. TBH I previously had no interest in Marvel. And I STILL don’t have interest in a LOT of Marvel. Most of the things I watched before were as a group. But this series opened up a can of worms. Especially season 2 is less “superhero” (which isn’t my thing) and more “sci fi” with all the existential quandaries that come with it. Ended up digging into his comics after this. Loki is an interesting character (and a mood.)
When it comes to time, time travel, and free will, you need to think about it like this: You have free will. But, if you look to your past, those events happened, and you can't change them. Does that mean you didn't have free will, at that time?
@@johnmiller7682 I look at it as YES, you have and had Free Will when those events took place, but if you go back to change your choice, then you're overriding your own Free Will simply because you now know the outcome, and that is why it would create a divergent timeline. Even if that time traveling wasn't outside of yourself (such as they do in the show), but was rather similar to the time traveling done by Wolverine in X:Men: Days of Future Past.
@@johnmiller7682 In other words, regardless of whether you physically go back in time and simply find a way to warn or communicate to your past self to make a different choice, or whether you travel back into your past self to make that different choice, making that different choice would still effectively create a separate timeline.
@@johnmiller7682 Because, as Intelligent Hulk explains in Avengers: Endgame, Back to the Future Time Travel is bullshit in the MCU. You can't go back in time and change your present.
Why did they skip Falcon and Winter Soldier? In my opinion it is the best show with no weak or slow parts but doesn’t get any love because it was move conventional and less weird than the first wave of shows.
It doesn't need to watch these shows in release order. They can watch it later though. And the fatws show doesn't ties with any other marvel shows or movies untill the brave new world movie comes out. So they can skip it and watch it later
After this you need to go back and watch Falcon & The Winter Soldier which came out before it. Marvel released these projects in an order for a reason. You have a lot to watch before starting season 2.
The best show Marvel ever created! Wandavision & Agatha All Along series came close to Loki 1 & 2, but honestly, after my 5th watching the Werewolf by Night, they ended up in 2nd place despite just being a special presentation. A bit spoiler.... Wandavision still a really good show as it introduced Wanda as the Scarlet Witch while it's sequal, Agatha All Along managed to be intriguing & bought fresh perspective of witchcraft in the Marvel Universe even though I wasn't too thrilled about the ending so it's at 3rd place. I really did love Moon Knight despite the criticisms. I blame the directors. It's too confusing & too Marvelesque ending & too trying hard to be Wonder Woman in the finale. These shows supposed to be about Superheroes or Supervillians origin stories, that's all. I don't get it why it had to have epic showdowns that aren't epic at all. I think the best endings are the ones that conclude origin stories with bow ties, like Echo's ending. There wasn't much showdown but just pure origin story conclusion & a little bit of healing, as She-Hulk spelt it out to K.E.V.I.N. I thought She-Hulk was not a bad show just a bit anti-climactic & demean Hulk's character growth in the beginning.
Nick, you are incorrect. The beings with Stan Lee were The Watchers, not the "Time Keepers"! This is why you need to watch the entire MCU in Release Order! It's only going to get more confusing if you don't. 🙄
I’ll be disappointed if people convinced you not to watch The Falcon & the Winter Soldier. It’s my favorite of the shows along with WandaVision. Sam and Bucky’s chemistry is great
@ explain how I took it far? It’s literally canon that Loki is bisexual and this is the first time it’s been mentioned in the mcu. If ur annoyed at my comment there’s clearly more important issues at present u should think about…
Hey guys - love your channel!! BUT, can you imagine watching "The Avengers" movie without watching the other five films first??? Same deal here. Everything is connected. First Falcon and Winter Soldier is great. Second, if you miss it one day in the future you will be so lost it will be embarrassing to watch your reaction at that time. Do yourselves a favour and do NOT skip over any shows or films.
You really should just do release order, missing even one show out will be pointless. Since the shows and movies are all connected. Characters/Story development will be missed otherwise. (Besides that one show nobody likes lol)
What bothers me is the inconsistency in the level of powers. Loki should be on Thor's level in terms of strength. And in this show they nerf it. He has trouble fighting with normal people. Also, since Silvy comes in, it is no longer the Loki show, it is the Silvy show, she is more competent, and she learned everything on her own. Even Loki's mother taught him magic. When the tower was falling Loki used telekinesis to push it, I saw that you were confused about it, meeting Silvy made him see that he has not reached his full potential. He has powers I didn't know he had. It also seems to me that his change is very sudden. from Villain to hero. just to see a video of a future that he did not live.
I definitely agree here. Loki can lift upwards of 50 tons, due to his Frost Giant heritage. A confrontation with a regular human, even an enchanted one like in the shopping mall, should be no contest. And he wasn't in the TVA, so he had full range of his abilities.
I love this reaction, but I'm disappointed you skipped over Falc&Soldier, all of the shows are worth your time, you shouldn't arbitrarily skip shows. Historically speaking, all the shows got so much hate, so it's hard to use polls to figure out what to watch....
The first time I watched this all I could think was “an accurate portrayal of what hell would be like for Loki. Cool!
Understanding timelines is vital from here forward. this series does a pretty good job of "explaining" it.
No the ones with Stan Lee are Watchers, not Time-Keepers
Yep, Stan was hanging out on the moon with the Watchers.

In GotG2 we saw The Watchers, not the Time Keepers
After you watched Doctor Strange and the multiverse of madness you should watch Agatha all along as long as the memories of WandaVision is 'fresh' in your minds
I'm happy you like "wandervision" and "loki". maybe these two are the best disney+ marvel shows. but the others are not bad. every show is different and could also be something for you. every show introduces new characters (backstory) for later marvel movies and shows.
Yeah, the MCU is setting up for the New Avengers team.
Dayum
Unexpected one but its really good pleasee finish both seasons ..its one of my fav series will def watch them all
What happened to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier?
They may watch it later. The way these shows are done it doesn’t really matter watch order because they don’t intersect at all.
@@LJade1017 Or maybe that's on hold until the releases of Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts.
Falcon is a totally different storyline in the MCU than what they just watched with WandaVision. They should just do the magic story line stuff, cuz they won’t be able to do a watch along for the new Captain America for a few more months anyhow
This show is a garbage
Thank god they are not watching it
The timeline where loki was the same one as before.
the avengers knew where to find the stones because they went to the past on their own timeline.
Dont forget 'Falcon & the Winter Soldier' too
Quy’nh “that’s a trick you don’t sign before you read” 🤣🤣🤣 yall are way to tactical for this world, if I ever become a superhero nick can be my partner and we call Quy’nh in when we need damage done 😅😅😅
Love Loki. Especially season 1. I had some issues with season 2.
I think it’s not that there’s a single choice or direction it’s just that when you create a significant adjustment compared to the ‘sacred’ overall timeline then the TVA undoes that one
26:28 Dude, time might be money. But when you basically ARE time, you don't need money.
00:14:09 Quynh saw Peggy Carter
season season is not connected to the rest of the MCU, so you can watch it right after (but nothing wrong with also saving it for last)
Waiting for next part 😌
Did you decide to just skip Falcon and Winter Soldier? You will want to see that before Black Widow.
Why? BW takes place during 2016 in MCU, FATWS during 2024. BW was supposed to be released first, but Covid19 messed things up. Watching them in the original planned release order IMHO makes more sense; nothing in FATWS is mandatory for understanding 99.9% of BW…
Meh black widow. They can skip it and watch it later. Maybe before brave new world and thunderbolts.
I think you should've watched The Falcon and the Winter Soldier first
Watch order doesn’t matter for those two storylines, they don’t intersect at all.
@@LJade1017true but cap 4 is coming close
Yeah they can watch it later
21:27 Ahh that takes me back. Reminds me of my mother.
Guys. Please remember to watch everything in release order. It's still okay now. But Falcon and Winter Soldier was suppose to come next.
Hey guys please react The falcon and the winter soldier series please before this because it comes before Loki 😢. Please don't skip it 🙏
LOKI is my ALL TIME favorite MCU show..can't wait for you guys to watch season 2 already😅 39:43 fun fact: Loki in the Norse Mythology can change genders like a clown fish.
I'm so happy you decided to watch this, Loki is my favourite MCU show :)
You didnt see the time keepers you saw the watchers thats who stan lee was chatting with.
@ And if you do go back and change some thing, you become a variant. And the TVA steps in
@ And before you even have a chance to change the timeline, the TVA Steps in and apprehend you as a variant.
Wtf stop listening to people that are telling you to skip stuff. They aren’t there for no reason
I love Loki, best MCU TV show by a mile, but you shouldn't have skipped Falcon and the Winter Soldier with the new movie coming out.
"You gotta do better, senator", "don't call them terrorists" - no weak parts, right.
After this you need to go back and watch Falcon & The Winter Soldier which came out before it. Marvel released these projects in an order for a reason. You have a lot to watch before starting season 2.
Falcon and the winter soldier please
o_O its totally fine that you didn't watch F&TWS before Loki (not in order) *. eye twitching
you HAVE to watch the second season before deadpool and wolverine.
Tell me did they watched the x men movies?
Pls React to Deadpool and the wolverine
love you guys reaction and plz dont forget to check out"The Falcon and The Winter soldier"
Sam and Bucky’s chemistry is great
Yall theyre fine watching Loki before Falcon..
Wow
49:15 LOKI BISEXUAL KING/QUEEN
You really don't need to take it that far.
@ explain how I took it far? It’s literally canon that Loki is bisexual and this is the first time it’s been mentioned in the mcu. If ur annoyed at my comment there’s clearly more important issues at present u should think about…
@@J_mped what is the "king/queen" about? What does that mean?
Why I new this couple was going to skip over falcon 🤔I wounded why?
if you are not reacting to falcom and the the winter soldier. but you should see it on your own time.for continuity.
Why on their own time???
@@OzoneGamerStation becoz they not want to react to all marvel shows
@@nafeesahmed6654 except everyone wants them too. Stop telling people to react on their own time.
💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
So you're deff skipping The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Good luck enjoying Captain America Brave New World in the future lol
Can always go back before they get to it.
Loki season one is the best tv show Marvel has released (to this day), season 2 wasn't the best, it really didn't need to have happened IMO.
Agatha All Along and Wandavision complete my top 3 by the way.
Daredevil, hawkeye and falcon & the winter soldier clear
Season 2 is miles better and the best Marvel content in ages.
I hate what they did to Loki 😭
@@danharris5999 yeah also, I can understand he can´t use magic on the TVA but he should have his "frost giant strength"
Watch "ATTACK ON TITAN", the best anime all time
REACT AGATHA ALL ALONG
I love this reaction, but I'm disappointed you skipped over Falc&Soldier, all of the shows are worth your time, you shouldn't arbitrarily skip shows. Historically speaking, all the shows got so much hate, so it's hard to use polls to figure out what to watch....
