These Bike Park Jumps Are Completely Insane!

- Gravity Logic was brought in to build the largest Jumps (open to the public) of any bike park in the world. The trail, known as Fort Hill, at Thunder Mountain, is by far the biggest proline in the world. The size of these jumps rivals the jumps at Whistler including Crabapple hits. Just standing on the edge of some of these lips is scary enough. If you're looking to hit the biggest mountain bike jumps in the USA, Fort Hill at thunder mountain bike park is the place for you.
Here's a fun fact: The trail name Fort Hill, is named after Fort Hill Brewery in Massachusetts. The owner is a mountain biker who sponsored this trail because he wanted bigger jumps on the Easy Coast of the USA. I would not want to be the person to test those jumps out! It’s so easy to over cook them. The last jump was terrifying, but since they’ve built one even bigger

I really like the segment with Haley, it offers a more casual look at the sport here and make it less daunting for people like me who haven't tried it yet. It's really nice both of you look like you're having a lot of fun too.

Edit: Actually I lied. This was 6 weeks ago, I thought it was my air cap because I do that all the time, but I just remembered it was actually my compression knob. The screw backed out completely and I removed the knob (which amazing hadn't fallen off) and put it in my pocket.

@@SkillsWithPhil yeah I've been there a couple times, im not the greatest rider but it has huge ranges in difficulty from long xc circuits that anyone can do to 10 metre vertical pro lines that most people won't go anywhere near.
That was so cool! A lot of content here. The speed you took Billy Badger was amazing. My speed is much more like Haley’s. That first drop into the right berm I roll, and boy is that steep. You were going down Thunder cliffs like there is no tomorrow. Too easy, aIn’t so easy. Next time, do Billy’s world to Winetree. Also, Shist all the way through is such a great trail. Thanks for another awesome video!

how do i get better at jumps, i feel like i’m more or less jumping like haley, not a lot of air but i’m trying
Learn how to boost(basically bunny hop off of a jump). There are a ton of videos on it and it helps you get a lot of air.
It's more legs than you think. You've gotta pop off the lip and adjust position in the air with your hands.
Yeah you compress before the jump and extend your legs at the top. It's hard to explain
I was in the same position as you. I was wondering how everyone was hitting all these jumps. It just comes with experience I have learned and knowing the proper technique.
