Life in the Comfort Zone

- This story is about Wojak living in a comfort zone what is a psychological state where a person feels at ease, in control, and experiences low levels of stress and anxiety. This zone is characterized by familiar routines, predictable environments, and behaviors that do not cause discomfort or fear. While it offers safety and stability, it can also lead to stagnation and missed opportunities for growth and fulfillment.

If you could go back in time, what would you change in your life?
Nothing
I would be more open with my family
If I could go back in time I would have worked more at my high school so as not to fail my baccalaureate once, which made me lose a chance to go to an important personal place. I would have asked the names of the people who inspired me in my life so that they would not be blurred in my memories, I would have told my first love that I loved her before it was too late. I would have bought bitcoins.
Not too much. I have gone out of my comfort zone many times. You must attack life!!!!!!!😎🇺🇲🤘🥋
I would've started working out way earlier.
This was the first step to fixing my life.

So become homeless, go to prison, or go starve out the wilderness. That way you can avoid the horrible comfort.

I had a friend very much like this Wojak. He took upon a motto one day: NO VACANT DAYS. It became his mantra. No matter how small, do one thing to push yourself forward. If you find yourself having trouble, remember, if it is to be is it up to me, you must force yourself to be accountable, remind yourself, manifest, speak unto yourself mantras of whom you need to be, not who you are now, and remember "don't think, just do". The more you think of something, the more you just procrastinated. Thinking of the past, and the future too much, distracts from the present, all action remains in the present, every minute is a chance to grow.
Like. Very wisdom comment. Saved in my list of quotes.
Right now, are the youngest you’ll ever be. Success doesn’t wait for anyone, you have to go out and make it happen. I constantly catch myself in a loop where I’m doing really well, making gains in financials and mindset, and then I let myself down by making poor choices and starting from zero again. Breaking the cycle is difficult but I know I can do it.
You can do it, i believe in you , trust in the process, Trust God
Don't ever change tomorrow, it's impossible, as tomorrow doesn't exist, only the right now does.
Anytime you say "I do it tomorrow." it will only become a disappointment as the person you are today will still be the same tomorrow, procrastinating, tired.
Clean right now, search for a better job right now, do make that jog right this morning even though it's raining a bit. If you do it now, than tomorrow you will feel fulfilled instead of feeling like you keep failing life. I've also been in the circle of a low paying cafe job, and I know it's hard to get out as you're dead tired in your free time. But it's the only way to continue. Break the cycle, get away from the screen and to it right now.

Every lifestyle has its own advantages and disadvantages
Live the way you feel is right for you, and don't let anyone, including me, convince you otherwise
Right
I know this already. But good insight 👍🏻
this lifestyle has 0 advantages
I disagree. We haven't experienced all lifestyles to determine which is 'right for us'. This kind of thinking leads to the embracement of the comfort zone (not to the degree of the video above though).
Live a successful life. Determine what success is truly.
Since I don't have an eagle eye's view of human life, I see it wise to agree with God's view of success (I am Muslim), as it evidently leads to human completion, which is easily considered success.
Literally this
Almost ten years ago, I was around 25 years old, I realized that I was wasting my life, partying every weekend and smoking hashish and weed every day, I started to work hard to change my reality and the truth is that I don't regret it. All the experiences I have had in recent years are priceless. I stopped smoking joints and started spending the party money on traveling, I started changing jobs, trying different jobs and places, I went back to study, I started gym training and do exercise, which made me improve my luck with women. I recommend it, of course was not easy. It was a complicated path at times, but it was worth it. Just try to control your mind and do your best.

its so terrifying that weeks can go by while you carry around a thought like "look for another job" or something similar. Weeks, then months of trying to basically do one simple thing, then you notice a whole year has gone by. Do you ever look at something in your house you havent touched in that long, like a certain cup in the kitchen, something like that, pick it up and think "I havent picked this up since last year, yet at the same time, it feels like I just put it there." This feeling I have a lot and it's bone chilling. Just imagine all the different experiences others have had, especially younger high school aged kids, and the entire time you've been sitting here, life passing you by wondering when the last time was when you picked up this cup.

If you’re not currently living the life of your dreams or doing what you want, be grateful for where you are at the moment and appreciate the smaller things.
EVERYTHING can change for the worse, without reason, at any time.
You never know what’s round the corner, so be happy and thankful for who you are right now.
Bro be like " today is the worst day of life SO FAR"
Real optimistic bud
I agree 100% and that is true but at the same time you have to strive to be the best version of yourself and be better than yesterday. Always! And be patient
This is the wake-up call that I needed
This is me for the last 10 years. Working the same retail job everyday, too tired to exercise or make a healthy meal, too lazy to socialize, no passion for life anymore. It caught up to me. Im about to be 30. Isolated, overweight, on my phone all day... I quit my job 5 months ago, I am going to community college full-time, and im trying to prioritize my health. If you're in this cycle, end it now. I wish I hadn't wasted my 20's in the same damn building every day.....
Rich or Poor. In love or Not. Fit or Fat. Popular or Unpopular. We all die and are buried the same depth. Just do what makes you happy and do what personally fulfills you!
Thanks my friend. I honestly don't want "what society expects of me." I just want to be happy, and I think that's already difficult in this society.
@@ne1tan30amen brotha, these videos are made by a self-loathing loser who spreads his misery to others and acts like we all live the same life. Life is good bro, just enjoy it for the ride it is. It’s not that deep.
@@ne1tan30 you will never be good enough for some people , dont even try , even if you are the best in the world they will still find reasons what you lacking

Money isn't even real, same with reputation. I'm not sure about love. Fitness is. It's usually a good idea to at least do cardio to avoid heart disease
Yep, one thing everyone has in common we all get switched off.
dude u got us all with one video
This hits too close to home, especially the end part. We all know this is the end thats waiting for us if we dont act now.
That end is coming whether you act or not
@@forman208 yeah but having a good end is better than a bad one
This is the most motivational video that I have ever watched in my life I’m not kidding.
I already watch it all week before bed and after I wake up
Cool video. Anyone watching it and reading this, remember there is nothing wrong with staying in your comfort zone or working at McDonald's. However, if you want to feel more positive emotions and less bad emotions in your life, that might not be the best strategy. The most comprehensive studies have shown that there is something we can all do that vastly improves the sense of purpose and our own happiness: caring for others, spending time with friends and family, forging new bonds. I'm sad for Wojack that he didn't at least propose to his friend to go for a drink after his friend is done with the hiking.
Schedule something with friends NOW. Anything, it doesn't matter.
The worst part is nearly everyone thinks that materialistic achievements will grant happiness
I can tell you they don't. I've been on welfare wearing borrowed clothes. I've also had a successful business and 1.5 million in net worth. I can think of plenty of times I was happier single and broke.
@@jonathansmith3031
but you would never agree to get back single and broke would you?
@@isahak7 There is little difference either way with regard to happiness. I won't give up my wife though because I love her. My money is necessary for my survival now since I sacrificed my health to obtain it. So no.
@@jonathansmith3031Sorry this is BS. Money absolutely buys freedom to do what you want in this world. It also solves a lot of problems. I do not believe people at all when they say money doesn’t buy happiness it definitely does.
@@la6136 I used to believe that too.
I've been stuck in this "comfort zone" for more than 10 years now. I don't even have dreams anymore.
That was a hard hitter. Thank you.
As someone who recently stepped out of my comfort zone I absolutely was like this, but I finally went for the girl who I'd been waiting for and now we're together :)
Let's GOOO, well done brother
Great. Now don't fall into comfort.
F is temporary, children are forever.
And if/when it falls apart, you will then know real discomfort
Haha, he doesn't know
@@beesmongeese2978 And that is why we have to celebrate it, there is still hope in him.
I want to remind some people that sometimes you can live your best life in the comfort zone. I left my comfort zone a year ago when I went abroad for studying. I traveled and socialized a lot. Basically I turned my whole life upside down because before I was playing video games all day and after my return I figured out that I enjoyed playing video games more.
No, according to internet anonymous gurus, You have to like being uncomfortable, or You're worth nothing as a person - because You don't 'improve'.
One idiot told me, that I live in a comfort zone and will regret my decisions, when I literally told him that I don't workout on my free time, because I spend my free time with my wife and our child, travelling, hiking and doing normal, every day stuff.
The one person that will always tell You that You're not enough, and that You're worthless is some random dude on the internet, who doesn't even leave his moms basement
But don't you think people work hard to get a comfortable lifestyle?
It’s all about balance. Your comfort zone should be part of your life but not your entire life.
I have travelled the world, visited ancient places, danced in beautifully cities and walked many paths. But there is no place like home, a peaceful and quiet castle spared from the chaos outside the door. I could have done more, there's always that thought, i could have done more, but this is an irrationality, the fomo that preys on fools. You can know the world and never cross the threshold of your home. Count your blessing before chaos busts down your door. The future will not be merciful.
Well it’s easy to say that once you’ve traveled everywhere and done it all. My goal is to eventually have the same feeling, justing wanting to be home, but right now while I’m young and energetic, I need to be out there, living life to my fullest.
@@Jalerbo I haven't done it all, just a little more Than the next guy. Being a leaf blown by the wind is not better than being a root that has no tree to feed. Suffering is universal. Angst if a sign of ignorance. Imagine that our "comfort zone" is actually the safest F'ing place in the entire world currently, and everywhere else is crime, proverty and violence... and then trying to trick people out of it.
Danced in beautifully cities and walked many path… what the heck does that mean?
@@exelmans8855 I traveled, that's all ot means. Many of the clubs I once partied are long gone. Ancient sites like the city of Petra are still there. Someday when I die all my memories really will be just tears in the rain.
I’m sorry but that comment is unnecessary and shows me your a person of little value
The pain of discipline is better than the pain of regret
this gave me goosebumps
0:13 I saw myself being reflected back at me and felt disgusted.
Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.
Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable source here in Australia. Really need!
Yes, dr.porassss. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
I wish they were readily available in my place.
Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac.
He's constantly talking about killing someone.
He's violent. Anyone reading this
Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
Is he on instagram?
Yes he is dr.porassss.

This is why I do something out of my comfort zone every single day. Even if it’s marginal. It can be exploring a new hike on a weekend, getting out to paddleboard at sunrise before work, bringing up an idea or leading a project at work, going to a new place to meet new people, learning a new song on the guitar, studying a language, lifting heavier weights in my workout, or heck even just trying to budget harder (aka give up DoorDash and cook my own damn food) to save for the future.
Do something that challenges myself EVERY god damn day. Whether it’s a level 1 challenge or a level 10 challenge. Just do something HARD every day.
Thanks man, I was about to give up on something and this video inspired me to keep fighting
You're responsible for all the actions that you do in your life, know your dreams
responsibility is a distraction from reality. It tells you who is guilty, it doesn't tell you any solutions. it changes nothing
@@ataarono that makes little sense
But you are not responsible for all the decisions that you were not aware of or that turned out badly in your life, know your reality.

id say knowing the right people is more important

Amazing video, comfort zone can be so addictive.
Don't wait for motivation to start, start today motion will come after.
why not accept the comfort zone instead of fighting it?
@@ataaronoSo we should put effort in absolutely nothing, if something doesn't seem right to our expectations? This guy didn't make a wild take. I've seen wild ones, but this ain't it fam.
What he refers to is comfort that makes you miss opportunities. While you're young, it's better to find your limits. If you found the threshold, step back a bit and enjoy the fruits of your labor/exploration/progress. I dont understand how this has is perceived or has to be extreme, it isn't. It's a tale as old as time: "Want change, try to make it happen". Woopsie fucking do. The oppositie is true, easier to obtain, but less honorable: don't want it, don't do anything. But if the folks want it, why convince them otherwise? This I don't understand.
@@The-Dirty-Straw I like the way you think because I have said the same things before just 2 years ago, to a psychiatrist that asked me a very similar question.
It can be an innocent question but it felt like an accusation and it made me think of a similarily cynical reply back then.
I did not understand how my demotivation was caused by the same brain region that was also fighting against it... only making it even stronger.
It endlessly builds a mental frame of "should/shouldn't" "good/bad" "losing/winning" "healthy/unhealthy" "guilt/innocence" "success/failure".
Most people live their whole life within this frame and it often works well enough to get them to the end of it.
It makes it so you believe there is only the option to move forward towards good, never the other way, however if you get stuck, it can only make you push harder until something breaks first because nothing else is acceptable.
But you can learn to leave the frame using the other parts of the brain. Well at least I did, not everyone is able to.
God damm. That is A+ tier of wojak animation. Keep it up! My man

I can relate to this a lot. You can get out of the comfort zone. One small step at a time. 🙂
This was my life all the way up until the age of 32. I decided to lose 50kg/110 lbs, go back to college, and met a girl. It took 7-8 years to climb out of rock bottom, depression, and minimum wage, but I have now seen unimaginable success, happiness, and freedom, plus I got married, all thanks to stepping outside of my comfort zone. Stay Uncommon!
Haha I used to work out a good bit. Studied hard became a lawyer. Worked hard at my job. Then stress got to me, hit rock bottom, started drinking and became an alcoholic. Looks like I had the exact opposite experience as you on that living outside comfort zone journey! lol
I'm 21years old...I'm unemployed with half education I mean I'm not complete my graduation .. from last 2years I'm fully isolated in my house ... Financial issue always have with my family ,I'm very sad that I do nothing till now for my mom dad ...Just like this video I always set alarm and the morning I snooze alarm as usual day and sleep again and when wake up very late ...I do nothing just use my phone whole day and see others video , reels ...and eat very unhealthy and too much ...today my eyes open thanks to the creator of this video it definitely show me wrost side of comfort zone ....
