These guys really be playing at the Microsoft xp background course
First thing I thought lmao
🤣
Lol came searching for this comment
Windows XP?😂😂
@@picsnation4819 old windows version
Cracked me up when Bubbie described his bunker play.
"I do enjoy bunker shots. I don't know why. I've never learned them. I've never thought about them. I just kind of hit the joint"
Weird. I just hit the joint, too.
2:04 ayo Steve
WTF!!?!?!?!
2:37 ayo Matt

sus meter kicking off 🚨
I don't always hit a sand wedge 125 yards, but when I do it's from a greenside bunker! LOL. Great tips, Grant!
I think it's definitely true that bunkers scare people but once you know how to execute them properly, become one of the easier shots in golf.
very true. my friends and i are new to golf but played baseball. they all scared of bunkers but i feel like theyre one of the most fun and easy shots. i love them. would rather be in the sand than chipping some days
Instructional videos like this are how I've gone from 30 to 19 handicap in a year, love the content guys keep making videos so we can all learn more!
Love this
Really solid man! Video was on point.
I'm usually a 95-105 golfer, but after your chipping video couple weeks ago, I scored a personal best 91, even getting up and down on 2 holes in situations I never would have gotten up and down from before. I am miserable when it comes to bunkers and easily can add 5 strokes to my round. Can't wait to practice these tips this week! My goal is to break 90 and stay in the 80s while continuing to improve
Fellas, I can't even tell what a game changer this video was for me! The sand used to be a round ender for me. As in, game over, forget the whole round, I'll be lucky to be out in double digits.
THEN I WATCHED THIS VIDEO AND PUT IT INTO ACTION TODAY! I found the sand three times today and three times I got up and down from the sand and it felt easy! Grant I appreciate you my man. You guys are great!
Love this video. Seriously after watching this, the past two weeks I’ve had great sand shots. It’s nice hitting it in the sand and being able to confidently know you can get out.
Best place for in depth instructions and easy to understand
Every video has been great & very simplified
Love it, Grant Academy!!! Bunkers are our friends!
Living in Florida. Lots of wet, compact sand. Pretty much use the same technique, but will slightly close the bounce and hit closer but still behind the ball.
All good good related channels are just god tier
Great video guys, especially for a basic bunker shot in perfect conditions - thank you! Maybe an idea for a follow up video: different sand situations (wet, hard, shallow), ball situations (plugged and/or near the front lip) and their impacts on club selection, club face and/or swing/technique.
The last clip I watched was your chipping video. It revolutionized my short game. Great, simple instruction. Brilliant. Looking forward to trying these tips out tomorrow. TY Grant!
without any instruction given to me, I did notice when I go out to in it helps my consistency and height. So definitely one of the best tips of this video.
Bunker play alone probably brought my scores from the upper 80’s to the mid-low 80’s. I’ve tried to work on a few things that you mention here too Grant and for someone like me who already swings slightly out-to-in this setup work perfectly! Watching this im realizing I can probably open my face even more to create some more spin too. These videos are awesome, thanks to all you guys!
The tips from this video just changed my game for the better - unbelievable difference out on the course today.
Love the vids guys! Super helpful
Bubbie said exactly what I was thinking. I’m good at hitting the big power swings where tons of sand flies out but those precise distance shots are a lot tougher. I learned something today.
You guys are killing it with these lessons. So much good information
Literally a game changing video. Thank you Grant and Good Good!
You guys are awesome, great teachers, and have a laugh at the same time… some awesome tips ✌🏻
Love this channel, so helpful
Phenomenal stuff guys!!
These are honestly such great tips wow. I need to go try this
Insane video guys keep up the great amazing work keep on doing what you are doing I always look forward to watching a new good good vid!
AWESOME!!! Love these videos
I'm gonna use this on Monday when I play, thank you Grant!
This is a great tip I just recently learned this from a Phil mickleson video. So glad I did because the day after I had this exact shot. One thing I’d add I’d you have to commit!
Great content gentlemen !
Excellent video! Thank you!
Thanks for this one... I learned a ton.
Thanks Grant! I really needed this tutorial this morning before my tee time. I spend a lot of time on the Beach!!😎
Sounds like you need more help hitting your irons. Bunker shots are the result of poor approaches
I’ll be saving this to my golf playlist. Can’t wait to try it out
Great video guys, you did a really good job of covering the fundamentals. In another video you should cover how to hit high & low shots out of bunkers, as well as fairway bunkers. Love the quality content guys, 100k is fast approaching💯
I’ve rlly been needing this
Great tips fellas! Would love a video on fairway/longer distance bunker shots.
Best one yet
Two things I do now: I swing square - not out to in anymore. It’s help me not chop down and dig into the sand like I used to. Plus, I push my hands down at address- get lower.
Got my index down to 12.5 this year from 18.5, but still a feeb in the bunkers. Great instruction but the Mission Impossible theme song still plays every time I step into a bunker! Something about that open club face and out-to-in path fries the brain.
Was waiting for this one. Thanks Grant
this was terrific
No cap.. Grant is great instructor
Good good could you please do a lesson for fairway bunkers
Cant wait to practice that now
Great vid!
Great tips!
Thanks for the information fellas.
I love the fact that you help new golfers. I am learning from you guys but it’s hard. I’m left handed do you think you could do a left handed videos. Like for grips and swing?
Its all good good, boys!!!
Club choice (only recently have golfers started carrying 60*+... hitting out of greenside bunkers is possible with 54-59* wedges) and choking down a bit would be nice to discuss in another video. I believe that geography also plays a huge role in approaching bunker shots. Not everyone gets six inches of fluffy, groomed soft sand in the Midwest... But we still have to play the course!
Steven using the fringe to take a nap 😂 love the tips, appreciate it
Great Video. Great info. I would love to see a video on how to reduce the fat shots. Thanks
Matt’s hand at 2:38 is a little sus
thanks grant
Another banger
can you show us how to hit out of a crappy bunker with hard clumpy sand. Edited version: I made my first chip in ever today just by doing what you guys said to do, keep up the good work
The video is 1 hour old dawg
Yes.. playing at oregon muni's its best to stay the hell away from the bunkers
Think he mentioned it in one video. Don't open face as much and take less sand
I had the same comment. Not all of us get six inches of fluffy sand, so we have to "play the course." Managing that is the difference between a par and double!
@@napkimplz5416 they could use a follow up video on playing chips/flops from hardpan sand. Reading and practicing and adjusting to different conditions is critical.
i love you guys so much, watch all of your videos, could one of you just do an overview on what shaft flex is good for which kind of swing, i just went from stiff to regular and went from a draw to old bubbie slices, i need help
Awesome video
I feel I am a solid fan
That helped me out.
personally to add on i found that swing slight in to out helps if hit bunker shots to fat. however swinging in to out increases the chances to blade it, but u can get really good with it and catch mostly ball out of the bunker, which creates lots of spin.
Nice thanks.
Love the vids would love to see a little bit more angles of the setups you are explaining during the vids
Love this video! How about when it’s a crap bunker if the sand is wet??
go Grant!!
Brilliant
Very helpful video. Can you please cover fairway bunkers too?
Ya
G Rat feeling strong out the bunker now
good good labs!
Yes!!!!!
Steve sleeping at 7:51 is par for the course.
Idea for series. Golf course etiquette.
Tee boxes, divots, greens etc
I also practice with a little bag of sand instead of a ball. It force me to hit behind the bag to be able to send the bag on the green.
I actually figured this shit out a few weeks ago-
Driver off the deck. In the bunker? Driver. Middle of fairway? Driver. Off the tee? Putter for safety.
Micah steadily in the background raking lol
Wish you guys did fairway bunker from this video
Can you guys do one about putting grips?
You should do a video on how to hit out of fairway bunkers or is it the same?
I always thought of scooping out a dollar bill that's under the ball
What club do you guys use from green side bunkers? Is it always sand wedge?
probably in addition to this, how would the bunker condition affect each shot? for example if the sand is super soft compared to when the sand is wet and a little hard?
would be nice to give tips for lefties as well
Can you go over hard pan bunkers please.
Can you guys do one over hitting Hybrids off the deck, Its my biggest struggle in golf
Also should mention that you grip the club in an open position. Don’t just grip it normally/square and turn your hands/wrists.
Not sure you heard this yet. But Matt made a hole in one on a par 4.😃
Steve sleeping in the background 😂
I use my 56 degree for bunkers, would it be better to use the 60?
Nice
Please do a push draw video!!!
Fellas, could use some help on swings with longer clubs. Hybrids, wood, driver. Maybe just mentally but feels like a completely different swing from my irons which I’m confident in.
Looks like you guys are filming this video on the set of the movie "toys"
What about hard sand?
Should our wrists be tight and firm in the bunker? or more loose for some manipulation?
i always tell people 70% weight on the front foot, open stance. the metaphor i use it when you’re at the pool and a bug is on the water you don’t smack the back you skim the water behind it and everything goes forward. weird thought
Any advice for really hard tough compacted or wet sand? The sand we have in my town is almost never fluffy and loose.
Low bounce wedge helps.
The background at the beginning of the video looked like that windows XP background.
