I was part of the QA team for this game,all the versions in the same room together and it was a mess,more than 50 people plus PCs and consoles,it was interesting to say the least lol.

you should check out the Speed racer game on Wii/PS2 (Ps2 has an additional track and cars) It's a criminally underrated movie based game that's really fun.

Onibaitkiddo after driv3r there was driver: parallel lines (a bit of a spinoff) and driver: San Francisco (the sequel to driv3r)

Me and my dad used to play cars 2 all the time together i was around 8 years old and we loved it he always played as nigel gearsley since he loved aston martins id play as mcqueen ofc definitely some of my best memories with him before he passed in 2018
I adored cars 2 on ps3 as well as the toy story 3 tie in game. Sorry for your loss and hope you guys made some great memories.

Requesting the Family Guy game on PS2. Good vid though, and the Cars x minimme lore is top 5 stories all time.
Oh, Avalanche Software's back from the dead? That's pretty neat, I liked their Toy Story 3 game version (on Wii, 360, etc.). Disney Infinity played pretty much the same way except it introduced a level editor and they made it suck to choose a character there, because of the "toys to life"-deal.
Let's see what they'll make in the future, they have some potential.

I'm glad to see someone defend the Cars 3 movie, people seemed to have not given it a chance or were biased due to the poor taste in viewers' mouths after Cars 2. I would like to think in an alternate reality, Cars 3 was Cars 2 and Cars 2's plot was shortened into an episode of Mater's Tall Tales where the ending implies that Mater made it up.
Cars 3 is the last WiiU games:

The last wii u game was darksiders 1 on retail, and now the limited run game
Just Dance 2019 is actually the last WII U Game that got a physical release I believe.

When you unlock freeplay on the Cars 2 game, you can choose the difficulty as well as number of laps, not that different from Cars 3, if not done better in transparent blue graphics.

How many drafts of the script do you think they did? Because it seems like that line got changed at the last minute from "I'll be in my trailer" because they realized a character can't say that if the character is a car.

FYI ,shooting weapons backwards in Cars 2 was a thing. Just pushing the steering analog down reverses the aim of the weapon. For weapons that deployed backwards, pushing the stick up would shoot them forward.

Great review! Just one thing. In cars 2, you actually can fire backwards without having to turn around the car. You can just aim without that
So basically...
This is like Crash: Tag Team Racing but without the Crash IP or the clashing but with all of the modes plus more and the Cars IP.
A Cars game with old stock cars or old cars in general would be cool, plus dirt.

As for the video game, it certainly has good content, but like you said, there could have been more, like Cruz training to become the next racer and going back to Doc Hudson’s early days.
Maybe cars 3 should have an carrer mode like you said in the video,you play as 10 or 5 different characters similar to Sonic adventure 1,it would be cool if they also added customization just like race o rama.
The kart racing style makes me think of Mad Max in Cars world. Hahaha would be an amazing crossover film to have Max as his car in the Cars universe.

Okay....the one gripe I have with this game is the voice acting. Now I get that they probably couldn't get every high level voice actor/actress from the movies....I get that....
BUT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD...some of these voices hardly fit AT ALL....
