- There are several people in my life at present who are in need of the Great Physician. Some have small, niggling things that have been bothering them. Some have a temporary illness that will be well in a matter of days. Some have had surgery and need the Great Physician to calm their fears. One very dear subscriber is recovering from serious illness and has requested this beautiful hymn. I did not know this hymn before this week and I am very glad to know it now! At the name of Jesus, sickness must flee. What a wonderful thing this is! It may not be instant, and there may be lessons we are to be taught in the midst of suffering, but Jesus' strength will help us through. May Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals me, be with you all this week.
I would like to thank all of the subscribers and regular listeners of this channel. This hymn is the 100th hymn to be uploaded since the first hymn was uploaded in August, 2020. I sincerely hope and pray you will be blessed by the hymns as they continue to be uploaded, God willing, moving forward.

I find lyrics today for that song my mother sang in our language in Africa, while i was to young. Now i am able to worship myself. Glory to God!

Beautiful song, wonderfully presented, but it misrepresents Scripture. We sang it in church over a half century ago. A "seraph" is reportedly a "fiery (or poisonous) serpent," and the 7 verses the word "seraph" or "seraphim" appears in (in the Old Testament, long before Jesus) say nothing about their "song." Should "poetic license" permit changing the words of the Bible?
While we're at it, "Hark, the herald angels sing" also didn't happen. They SAID "Glory to God in the highest," NOT "glory to the new-born king."
I guess the other blessings in the song are to be considered. Jesus is the great physician and what a name is His.
