- Summer is ending on the Chickady farm, and with it goes any little bit of relaxing time. Fall is where the real work starts, and I gotta get my farm all organized and ready for it. Time for chopping trees and crafting bees...hives.

Firstly, I am thoroughly enjoying your series...so glad to have found you! Need I state the obvious...you have a wickedy sense of humor! Regarding wheat, I've found it an invaluable crop with a win-win outcome. One of the cheapest crops to buy from Pierre, it grows in only 4 days, harvests very quickly with the scythe, and has a 40% chance to get hay in addition to the wheat yield...SO much cheaper than buying hay from Marnie! Add to that the 2-season growing time and turning most of it into aged beer to sell, it's one of my favorite money makers.
indeed, however in keg can make better money by making hops, ancient fruits wine....etc.
Oh, I have all those going, too! But I think part of it just watching the wheat and hay fly with a satisfying swoosh when scythed.

You should be roommates with Krobus, since you can now “marry” him!
Eh, I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure she was if she couldn't decide or something like that.
Once I left my melons to see if I could get a giant crop and I forgot about them and lost them😔
Lightening will strike oak maple and pine trees. Learned that the hard way when it destroyed my tapped trees...and the tappers attached to them.
Low-key binge watching you because I fell asleep half way through 😂. So relaxing!
I've been playing a run where I don't go into the MINE at all. and I'm watching this and I was like WHAT you can get that much upgrades and money so fast before summer?! then I thought. oh, no wait, yeah, you can if you go in the mine LOL but I still learned so much! like the tree seed on the first day, or the waiting to get level 5 fishing before selling the bulk of your fish. I'm doing another run right now and will be playing so differently then my other runs. I usually wait until I get the greenhouse before planting strawberries or coffee. I don't know why I always waited, I can just make a seed maker and have more strawberry seeds if that was what I was holding me back. So many way to play
Ah, the elusive coal tree, well elusive for me anyway.
It's funny how I've gotten "The capsule" and "Owl statue" events, more then the "Coal tree" XD
I've made many characters and playthroughs,
yet, I've only gotten the Coal tree... Once.
one does not talk during the moonlight jelly cutscene! that's the law!!!

You can make Garden Pots to put into your house and grow crops in, for instance Cactus, Coffee, and Tea. Yes they need watering, (although I am not sure the Tea sapling does) but it is worth it. I have 3 Coffee plants, 1 Tea plant and 2 Cactus plants and I am never out of Expresso! In the Ice Levels of the Mines I find that I get both of the Root forageables from enemies, leaving just the Crocus to get for that bundle. I love watching your series, and yes, you got me back into playing Stardew Valley. ^_^

I believe there’s a setting that turns off flashes for bombs, I’m wondering if that would stop flashes from lightning?

I imagine the coffee from a keg (since it's in a mug I assume it's supposed to be hot) is kind of like what I've heard called 'cowboy coffee' where you heat up the water and grounds in a pot and strain the grounds out.

I was playing the other day and I'm in summer too and the traveling merchant had a snow yam! Just an FYI lol
OMG, yep you are absolutely right! When I was looking at the list of items not sold by the Traveling Merchant, I saw a frozen tear and my brain was like, "Yeah! That's a Snow Yam!" LOL But it's not. Ooooo now I'm going to have to keep a serious lookout.
This got uploaded right before I got home luckily I have a few hours before I have to head back to work so what better way to use some of that time.

When playing on PC, you can hit Tab and it will switch your backpack rows around.
And on Xbox, if you play it there, it's the right and left bumper.
And on PS4 it’s R1 and L1!
Ok, is it just me or when you finish the mines you have sooo much stone and coal, but then you use it all up and have to go back to the mines. And even though you acknowledged that on your next play through you make the same mistake 😑
That's just how the game is. 😂 You always run out of coal, especially when it's time to raid skull cavern.
@@pointystuff coals not a problem for me; I just buy all my bombs even though I usually buy 200k worth of bombs!...it puts a huge dent, but oh, well! I'll be in spring again soon and I'll just plant 1000+ ancient seeds...haha.
