Thank you for the series! Lava Eel has a chance of giving Fire Geodes, Gold Ore and have the best price on their Aged Roe. Ice Pip has a chance of giving Frozen Geodes, Diamond, Iron Ore and have a good price on their Aged Roe. Stonefish has a chance of giving Geodes, Diamond, Copper Ore and have a good price for their Aged Roe. Sturgeon has a good price for the Caviar, and it is needed for a Mystery Bundle. Octopus has a chance of giving Omni Geodes, Rainbow Trout has a chance to give Prismatic Shards, Spookfish has a chance to give Treasure Chests, Blobfish has a chance to give Pearl, Squid gives Squid Ink used in Cooking. I have gotten Farm Totems, Beach Totems, Rain Totems, and I know that some of the Crab Pot fresh water fish can give Mountain Totems.
Nice summary. I usually do Super Cucumber, Sturgeon, Octopus and Squid..... I think the chance with Rainbow trout is so low, i have never bothered.... But might setting up another row just for Spookfish, Blobfish, Rainbow Trout and Stingray for the new Cinder shard/Dragon Tooth stuff.

I think they meant the save file that was in year five of the farm. Thats a lot of dedication! I've never made it past year 3.

When you get the pan, wear it as a hat, that way you can pan any time the water sparkles.
I like to make my tree farm at the train station/bath house. It keeps my farm free for grass growth. Place a lightning rod on a grass plot and animals cant eat it. Grass spawns all year except winter.
I have married everyone except Sam - he’s too much like my son. I like the gifts too, I think that wedded gifts ‘seed’ is connected to your file as are geodes. My 2 favorites are Krobus and Haley. I do still love Haley but Krobus wins for spouse. He is SO sweet and cute! Plus, the random gifts the spouse gives you seems to be based on if they stay in the house - hence, why Krobus and then Haley. If you truly are a witch - you should ‘wed’ Krobus and also have a Void Salmon pond. 😝 Void Salmon are actually amazing! I have gotten perfection 6 times and only just realized how fantastic they are. Check the wiki and do the chance of items - they have a chance of 3 roe, void egg, or void essence. The roe is actually better than Blob fish when at 3. I dunno. But, you should do it it - as a witch.

Awww the baby ducks are so cute!!! It is crazy how fast you are with this game and how far along you are. I think I'm doing this wrong. I am almost into my first summer. And i have no animals yet, barely any gold, only one tool upgraded to copper so far, and i have robin buulding my silo now. I want to work on slpwly clearing my farm and i didn't want to loose all my hay.

How did you get the sand fish before unlocking the bus? Was it from the traveling merchant?
Yes. The traveling merchant has been pretty good to me this playthrough. We've gotten a truffle, red cabbage, and sandfish all from her.
@@Wickedy... I simply could not get the knack of fishing for quite a while, but between the traveling cart, the trash cans, and gifts from town folk, I was able to get every fish I needed to complete the Community Center bundles in just 5 seasons without catching one single fish. Oddly enough, I had no trouble catching the fire eel or the super cucumber later on in year 2...go figure!

I bought this game after I found this series and after my first year I'm thouroguly hooked, I almost have my green house, I'm just waiting on animal goods but I don't have a coop or barn so I'm stuck trying to buy them from the traveling merchant, why are buildings so expensive?
Omg, I agree. So expensive! Keep an eye out in Winter during the night fair, the traveling merchant has a booth there each night with a wide variety of things. If you're having a hard time getting money, be sure to process your goods as they sell for much more, or dedicate a lot of time to fishing those pricey fish out and sell after you have "Fisher" at level 5, so you get a whopping 25% more gold. If you happen to get to level 100 in the mines, try fishing for the Lava Eel, though it's very difficult, and put that in the fish pond. It only costs 5000 gold to build, but the lava eel gives some fantastic goods worth a lot of money as well, especially if you age it in a preserves jar.
