Amy Lee with that great voice. Such a relevant subject, it hit close to home with her sister. Everybody's Fool" is about people who are fake and superficial, people that pretend to be what they are not just to be accepted and loved in society. Amy Lee wrote it when her sister started turning into one of these people. She was trying to say you should always be yourself for you, and no one else. It doesn't matter what other people say as long as you're happy with who you are, and you aren't pretending.
@@Amberle38 Yes, despite my favourite band being Linkin Park, Fallen is the only album i've ever heard that i can listen to without skipping a single song. All albums have at least 1 song i don't like, Fallen doesn't, i just love every single one.

The message in this song is SO POWERFUL, especially in today's society, where likes and clicks matter most to so many, especially our youth. Adults are better because we've lived without it, the kids never have. Also, the whole "Fallen" album is great.
"Without the mask where will you hide? 'Can't find yourself lost in your lie". Amy was sick of the industry. People were pushing on all sides, " Lose weight, be sexy, You can't wear that, You can't date him, You can't sell albums unless you show some skin". Amy just wanted to sing her songs and be Amy. She saw what the industry did to other singers, bands and actresses and she said, "no not me!".
But she did sell sex in a softer way. Show a video she's done where she didn't look crazy hot? Amy said she didn't want to sell sex. But everything she did was sexy even when she wasn't trying to be. She a very pretty lady with a lot better shape than you think she has. She never showed much skin. But she did use the sexy she has to sell it. When you have that face and shape it's hard to not look sexy.
That pairing of the heavy, almost demonic music with all its distortion, and Amy's clear, angelic voice soaring over the top...lyrically, she always comes across like a angel who's not quite fallen, but is on the way to it.

It's what helps them to do what they do and keep their vocal tracks healthy. I'd definitely suggest more Evanescence and Lacuna Coil. Cristina Scabbia's vocals are incredible as well. Also The Hu, particularly "Song Of Women" with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm. It's a beautiful song with the band celebrating their moms and since Lex is a mom now, it's pretty apropos. 😎👍
