You just saved me a ton of money! Great video and it fixed our problem. We had a barista spin the plastic adjustment wheel WAY out of wack.

On ours, one of the 3 hopper metal short anchor lock pins is missing....
I don't see a replacement part for these pins. I guess I'm going to have to try to see if a nail or used rivet pin will fit the hole and then super glue and baking soda into place(as well as the 2 remaining pins so we don't loose those).
    Thanks

Hi, Is the knob pull off/removable? Ours needs some electronics spray cleaner sprayed into the knob shaft.. Because the knob response has gotten bad/jumpy/unreliable. Due to common age/oxidation of internal contacts... But unplugging and spraying with the knob installed, blocks the spray from getting where it needs to. Ours is the non-GBW model, simpler E65S model.
    Thanks

Hi Mark, not sure if you’d be able to help but I think we had a botched firmware update for our E80 non-gbw. I am now no longer able to get the grinder to power on. Circuit breaker is not tripping either. Any possible ideas?

it can happen , ive botched a couple myself . I would double check that you have continuity at the overlimit, and that the hopper safety is triggered properly .. if both of those items are good , and all wires are connected then it is most likely a botched display . Did the power get interupted or did the update just fail to complete? Unfortunately I dont know of a way to recover that display .

@@theREALMarklar update failed to complete and was getting “respone 200” on the firmware update software and the display was frozen. So I switched the power off then back on and was not able to get it to reset by holding both buttons + the jog dial before flipping the power switch back on

If there is buildup under the rotary carrier you may need to remove it completely and clean underneath like in this video ruclips.net/video/fDAMyWsaQF4/видео.html , .. also make sure the burr with a D on the back is on the bottom, and the S is on the TOP , hope that helps

Hi Mark great video. I took my E65S GBW apart to replace the display that was defective and when putting it back together I noticed 2 plastic rods that are mounted at the front of the motor and don’t know what they are for. I’m hoping you can help me figure what those 2 plastic rods are for. By the way in E65S GBW I didn’t see those rods. Thanks
