Bloody hell mate, you change boxes more than some blokes change boxers 😅, seriously, I've just changed from Octbox to MAP H LITE 36, because of suitability to myself, nice to see you back mate 👍
Great review Ben...Two of those harness anchor points on the seatbox frame look really close to the plastic rig tray T handles, I can see them handles getting snapped off when using the carry strap.
Great vid. What does put me off these boxes is the big plate at the back. Dont think ide be able to keep my brolley arm flush with the box when not in use

Not keen on Matrix boxes, they look too in your face and over-styled. I do like the footplate release pins though, better than the fiddly and awkward to get to on the Preston
Bit awkward only being able to slide out the stacker from the front, where your feet are

Nice seatbox. Realy neat, but.... the topframe is build of loose peaces witch are all screwed together, where the absolute frame is build of one peace. It's just one thing to considder🤔.
Ben which Matrix box would you recommend for my first purchase pls. I’ve not had a box as yet I’m using a feeder chair matrix but fancy treating myself. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

loved my s36 but it was just too heavy for an old man like me. My new inception box is like 8-10 kg lighter.
Hi Ben what difference is their between this and the preston absolute? Ie width of box, weight etc. Plus the seat looks an issue to me preston looks alot better. Hope you enjoy the box anyways 👍
softer seat, more expensive, 2 slimmer draws, weight and size similar
Not sure I could buy a box that requires standing up to open the drawers? The Inception boxes don't have that problem?
Nah cos there was no weight in draw dividers bud they were catching. now i have my gear in its fine xr did the same
Can see already the drawers stick when you pull them out, a common fault with matrix boxes no good if the angler is sat on the box and can't open the drawers
cause there was nothing in the draws mate once it had weight in they were fine

why didnt you go for daiwa tournament seat box? said one favourites seat boxes? personally i hate my daiwa box,seat rubbish and
draws shocking.....wished kept s36 superbox much better box
I’ve looked at these. I’m currently using a S25 and looking to replace it. I’m swayed to the Preston Inception station which I think will offer more storage options etc and a bit better price point. Thanks for the review.
