I see how exhausting it is to try to remember and narrate what happened. My father is a very jealous person, an alcoholic and would beat up his wife/girlfriend regularly on top of insulting her. And, he would not admit it or did not know about it. The wife/girlfriend looked like they were crazy making things up.
My mother is like your father. So many people still think that she’s a lovely and kind little old lady, but she is a scheming monster who enjoyed destroying her own family.

Her memory is so good & detailed because she's had to recount these events over and over and over with countless lawyers, court proceedings, and trials over the years. She's not making stuff up. What, she's lying about literally everything, and Johnny is the most upstanding human who tells the truth repeatedly? Please.

He has a history of aggression and violence. Regardless of what Amber has or hasn’t done, he’s not the angel you think he is.
Look at videos of her doing ballet week after Australia with leotard on-no cuts on her feet. You know why very few texts of hers? Because she is in violation of production order whereby she had to produce devices by 11/21 and she did not! Why? She produced tons of irrelevant stuff, but she violated that order. There’s a reason. It was a hoax. Why do you think 7 witness statements in UK trial? She kept having to change dates as Johnnys evidence came in disproving her claims. I don’t fault you for basing your opinion on this testimony on this day. However, many of us have followed this case for years and there is tons of evidence disproving her lies. `

I have and this angers me. What angers me is her demeanor compared to the UK trial versus this. Tell me why anyone would think she’s innocent. She’s way too enthusiastic about this situation.

Johnny also seems like a toxic person, undoubtedly exacerbated by the substance abuse, but I would bet anything that Amber was the one who introduced violence into the relationship. Johnny is heard in those tapes trying to walk away from the disputes to avoid violence but Amber does everything to make him stay and says she ‘can’t promise it won’t get physical’. She has a history of violence against romantic partners while Johnny doesn’t.
It's takes a real evil person to exploit your husbands substance misuse problems to demonise him and accuse him of horrendous acts.

When I was abused I reacted rudely and sometimes violently because I have a bad temper. Yes, it made the abuse worse but I was happy to stand up for myself at all costs.

It's okay if you don't reply and it's okay that you believe her over him. And you're right, he was abusive on texts. Just hear me out if you will and if you still believe her, that is your right.
First, can we agree that she is someone who documents many things, especially those light bruises she showed in court? How come she did not take pictures of worst injuries and it wasn't like she didn't have camera. She took the picture of mirror and writing and yet she did not take her own picture and again she is someone who documents and take pictures every time she gets a chance.
Second, the two photos which has been alleged to be edited as it was found on edit app with exactly the same file name - one had bruises and one had not. What she did say about that? She turned on the light for the second photo. Please look at those photos, it's identical. There is not even a point one difference, how is this possible?
Third, about TMZ. TMZ can release videos in fifteen minutes only if it came directly from the source and it came a day before her deposition.
Fourth, she claimed time and again that she wanted to protect Johnny and yet she went with a bruise to court. (Never mind TMZ employee telling they were tipped, knew which side the bruise is and was promised that Amber will pause for photo which she did).
Fifth, those who abuse doesn't keep other people close by, especially not someone close to vicitms. Johnny gave and kept amber sister and friends around.
Sixth, there are multiple audios where she admits hitting him and yet there is none of JD hitting her.
Seventh, she told her closest friends about the abuse, documented the bruises and share everything to her therapist and yet she did not have one medical record of her brutal beatings which would have been a hard proof. Remember you don't have to show anything to theparist, they believe their client and support them.
Eighth, she claims she used makeup to hide her bruises. Johnny with her big rings, even without a rings, she told that he hit her continuously on her face and she thought he had broken her nose. Do you know what happens to the face with such voilence? It doesn't just produce light bruises but the face it's become severely out of shape - swollen badly and some permanent injury especially if it is not treated and that cannot be covered by make up.
Ninth in audios you can clearly see she is not afraid at all. I can continue but I hope you get the gist.

My ex would get black out drunk and abuse me and act like a fool then deny everything the next day so I started recording to prove that I wasn’t lying about his behavior. So its possible to record someone and still be in love with them there are other reasons behind it sometimes

I've known her most of my life and we can tell each other any and everything, but that subject she can't even look at me. i’m on JDs side, but this logic sucks. people who are abused, in most cases, choose to stay with their abusers.
People stay with their abuses because they are often emotionally abused as well-they believe the person loves them and that they are worthless and don’t deserve better or are even capable of being loved by anyone else and are so brainwashed into this because their abuses are constantly telling them so etc while also having massive swings in behaviour that make them also believe they can be extremely loving. Also a lot of people have other economic and family stresses that make it hard for them to leave.

You just have to read the UK verdict full elaboration document. it's a very long document, but pretty convincing. In the UK the defendant in the libel case needs to provide evidence that their printed statement was sufficiently truthful. They did.

Like she had more scrips coming across her desk than she could read quick enough. She wished! I don’t believe a word she said. She is incapable of love so for her to say she was in love was on her part delusional. She didn’t love Johnny’s kids, she saw them as competition with her need for Johnny’s attention. Ambers number one tell that she is lying is that she never did anything wrong. She never takes any responsibility for anything. I think Amber was “easy” regarding anyone that could further her relevance for work. I’m glad that she burned her career to the ground, which was her OWN doing.

She literally took photos of anything & everything that she could use & manipulate, him passed out & sleeping doesn't prove anything. Anyone could take a photo of their partner passed out on the sofa or in a chair & say they were off their face on drugs how can that be proven. Amber tried so hard to find him in compromising position that she knew she could twist the narrative.
Agreed! The older I get the more I fall asleep like this randomly and I've never done drugs! I believe you're right, she took these to create a manipulative narrative.

Did you not hear the tapes where she admitted to hitting him? And he was the one that said if it gets physical I have to leave we can’t do that and she replies by saying “I’ll try but I can’t promise anything”
And let me tell you I’ve been in abusive relationships two different men for years and I would never ever be able to just hit him in the face or belittle him the way she did that is not a woman that fears for her life or fears physical retaliation. My abuser would have literally killed me if I hit him or said the things to him she said to Johnny on those recordings. That is not a woman scared of the person she is talking to

The fact that AH's abuse was different, doesn't mean it's wasn't real. It was just different. That isn't taking anything away from your struggle. Anyway, we shouldn't hold against her, that she was so in love, she still thought they could fix things.
And we know, by now, that she hit him defending herself, maybe, there even was reactive abuse. We will never know for sure.
All the case is about, if there's a plausible possibility that he abused her, not even whether he started it. As far as we've learned, there's no reason to believe, that her version of the story might not be true.

I've never heard of an abuser WANTING the victims family around. Typically they isolate their victim and try to take away their independence.
Amber could have gotten help AT ANY TIME. She was/is a very lackluster actress and she saw Johnny as her ticket to success. I believe she stayed because she KNEW Johnny wouldn't hurt her. I'm sorry but WITH THE MEANS SHE HAD, she could have absolutely walked away.
You're describing a sober abuser. Johnny sober would never attack Amber. But he wouldn't stay sober, that's the problem. I believe he MAY be a violent drunk who blacks out and doesn't remember what he did intoxicated. In that case, it would make sense.
As far as Amber, people who are emotionally attached to the abuser are often very hesitant about leaving especially when all the problems would go away when he decides to avoid drugs & alcohol permanently. Sounds like she was waiting for this. He was trying to do this, was he not?
She early described him as one man sober and another intoxicated. Very sad.
Amber is the violent one. If you listen the recordings she beds Johnny to stay and fight with her all the time. She never accuses Johnny of hitting her in the tapes. Johnny accuses her and she never says “it’s because you hit me”
I am trying to have an open mind and give her a benefit of the doubt, there might be some truth so her stories but looks like its not 100% true. The way she acts and tells her stories looks so so fake lol
If their roles were reversed would you give him the benefit of a doubt? Sounds sexist! The benefit of the doubt should go to the person with the best claim, evidence, presentation, etc. Not just women. This case is proof of that.

They were both toxic for each other and she didn't get it when she wrote that op-ed. So the fact that she claims victim status, which she only might have had in some incidents, is the main problem I think.
@@chopshop523 but the roles have been reversed already when Johnny gave his testimony. He seemed quite genuine and not “overacting” in regards to some very heavy and distressing topics. He also didn’t seem like he was trying to force emotions or work through a fully pre rehearsed and pre packaged presentation. Amber seems so artificial in comparison. Of course, that doesn’t entirely decide the truth or non truth of anything she’s saying, but it’s fairly obvious why people are saying she seems fake in comparison to Johnny. I don’t think it’s just a sexism issue. She also just seems really fake.
Despite her expressions how is it hard to believe
She elaborates too much about things that don't matter, can't go into detail about the incident itself with specifics, the pics have no time or date stamps so could be taken at any time or any place. Quite a few times she has claimed he slapped her but then says it didn't hurt her. Don't know of anyone, especially a female being slapped by a male, that it wouldn't hurt. Also where are all the pics with dates that show all the injuries she claims happened, which were a significant number? WTF would she marry a man who treated her that way before they got married???
The dates are documented for the court, that's not a problem. And sadly abusers know how to hit just hard enough to break your will and not your bones. That's part of their urge to control. It's not about injuring you, but showing they're in control.

It's the total opposite apparently you've never been abused or in a domestic violence relationship it is frightening to look at your abuser it is intimidating and it is scary when you experience that kind of trauma and hurt the last thing you want to do is look at the person that is consistently abused you
