I’m loving the free form gradient. I’m working on a series of jewellery items with gemstones for work and this has allowed me to custom the background for each stone.
Great video as ever Dansky!
Hey you're welcome, that's awesome to hear 🙌
Cool video as usual dan..I was wondering if you can do more text effect design for your next video
4 years, but now I know about the more useful side of the radial gradient.
I can imagine the object spotlights that I can add to my designs!
Thank you
Happy to seee you bro ,, after 6 years
you are the boss..❤brother
The freeform gradient can mimic contour and lighting.
trying to move the gradiant toolbar and it just snaps back to orginal position
Can we get tutorials on alternatives products to adobe?
good
❤️🙏
Can one object have 2 gradients?
Yes, if you add the gradients from the Appearance panel, you can stack up a lot of different effects! 🙌
Anyone got any tips on how to do gradients in Illustrator without banding everywhere…
use software that actually works like it's supposed to, then import it to illustrator
@@scotturquhart4380 Think you are right… I used to use Affinity Designer and the gradients were fantastic. Unfortunately we are stuck with Adobe at work.
Nice. You didn't cover all the possibilities of a Gradient Tool. You didn't show the line option in Freform Gradient. Also, the main problem with Gradient in Illustrator is that it can not be saved in Swatches panel with all settings and that what is saved is not Global. Illustrator is a good platform, but it needs complete restoration.
Have you noticed how deeply unpopular Adobe is right now?
I switched to inkscape
I can still follow most tutorials
So what? Stop being a sheep haha Adobe still has some of the best tools on the market, Danksy delivers great content so leave the hate else where.
@@JeremyMuradesign Adobe makes professional software for professionals.
It's two dollars a day - for use of everything they make.
Most professionals wouldn't drink a cup of coffee that costs that little.
They offer deep student discounts... and twice a year on Amazing-bums,
they sell a years sub for half price. Are they perfect... no, of course not.
But 'evil' ...absolutely not. They're the industry winners, across most of the world.
They make the software that fills your society with flashy advertising,
of stuff you want to consume. They make the software that makes,
the Capitalist West run smoothly.
People rarely use Adobe for charity work or as purely 'amateur creatives'.
( Adobe actually offer free licenses to registered charities )
There''s plenty of ( cheap or free ) creative software alternatives out there.
Only if you want to be a 'Capitalist creative' do you really need Adobe software.
Those people that are desperate to be successful Capitalists... use Adobe.
If you just want to make ‘art’ - there’re many alternatives out there.
There is no 'evil' in Adobe's intentions or actions... they're just Capitalists,
like every other successful company in the US. They’re in it for the money,
those that buy into their software... are in it, purely for the money.
