- I am applying a temporary tape to the boarders of a diamond painting canvas and then applying glue that will hold the diamond drills in place.

Thank you for the information. I use to make silk screens for signs. I would hand cut the letters out then attach to the silk. Only the cut outs would come through. I think this would be much easier to do with screening but I don’t think a silk would work because the glue would dry too quickly on it. We would hand screen one panel after another with the paint but the next time you did a run a new screen would have to be cut. Peace and love abide with you 💕
This was helpful! Do you have to let it dry in a certain way? I guess you need to add release paper over the top, but I'm not sure if you need to wait before doing so.

Hi Nicholas. Thank you for watching. While I enjoy sharing how I make my diamond paintings, I do need to keep some things a secret.
Oh, I have been given some small wood trinket boxes by my young grandchild and she wants me to glue diamond art drills on the box, so I looked here hoping to find out what glue I should buy to stick the drills on, but as you say it's a secret, I accept that, and will go ahead using a pva glue to complete the boxes. I found your video informative in how to apply the glue, etc. Many thanks. 👌
I have an update for you. I now use Ecotex Super Tack.
Hi Lorna, I saw question a while ago and then I could not find it. I have started being more transparent. The best glue for at home use is Aleene's Tack it Over and Over. It goes on white, dries clear, and remains tacky. The glue I now use is Ecotex Super Tak.
