I have also noticed that when placing diamonds on a poured glue canvas that the glue has a more "jelly" like type of texture. It is more forgiving if you need to maneuver a misplaced diamond around as well. I wish more companies carried poured glue!

Distracted by diamonds out of Ohio is amazing and their canvases are poured ice just looked at my paintings and I’m so grateful because my deliveries from miss robin at distracted diamonds have gotten to me no more than 3 days at most from Ohio now I’m originally from Michigan and I know folks who can’t drive from Ohio to Florida in such a short time (I’m joking y’all). Also she has the best and I mean best wax it’s called paddywaxx and wow it’s awesome sauce! Ok I’m a year late but I’m here

I ordered my first diamond painting from Amazon about a month ago, and it came with poured glue! But the square drills all have dimples and and pen only had a single tip... Oh well, it was cheap at least!

Thanks for the video i had to update my understanding on what the difference was on the 2 glue types. I just recieved my first ever alieexpress order and it has double sided tape. My canvas is all crinkled up hope I can smooth it out before starting it 😂😭 It's 60x50cm and all square diamonds (a lady dressed in red leaning on a wall) normally i just do rounds and only poured glue (i noticed) so this is gonna be an adventure 😁
Great video full of helpful information. One question comes to mind; if you do unknowingly purchase a double sided painting is it worth the effort of doing it? Will it turn out looking good?
oh yea, Double sided adhesive canvases aren't all bad, they are just prone to having bubbles and rivers in them. As long as the drill field is clear and you can make out what the image is, it's fine

This is very helpful! I ordered a bunch from eBay last year. I finished them. They all sucked! I now am finishing my stock of diamond dotz. They are okay but they are mostly partials. I have a stockpile of DAC. From now on once I finish my diamond Dotz I will only purchase DAC in the future. Nothing is more frustrating than working on a crappy eBay canvas or running out of diamond dotz. In some of my Diamond dotz kits they don’t give enough diamonds. I know Joann’s sells them but I can’t get to Joann’s to get them right now.
you have helped a couple of times i have another challange ive just started doing bigger paintings i have one that is a 45 by 60 its one of my biggest ones its longer more then wide and it has a lot of creases and its kind of stiff im in the process of putting books on it if i put it under mattress where do i put it by my legs or where i lay
You said to save clear plastic from another painting to replace cover on double sided tape canvas. I'm wondering if you could replace it with something like Glad Wrap. You know how that stuff wants to stick to evertyhing!
Do you have any tips for repairing a canvas that has been cut? I thought I was carefully cutting the cover plastic (with a ceramic pen knife) so I could work on an area. Then discovered I have an “L” shaped cut (probably 2” x 3”) in the canvas. I currently have it “tacked” together with washi tape, but… I know that’s not going to hold.

wax Pencils? Their ok, if your talking about the nail design pens with the cone of wax on one side and the tiny tip on the other side, those are garbage, don't like them
Very carefully, Low heat no steam, but I would try putting a towel in the dryer until hot then Laying it om the back of the kit while flat to see if that works first.

What do you mean? If your kit is under the mattress, unless you are sleeping under the mattress as well you would sleep on the top of the mattress.

Minus taping the back there is no cure for that
