    @leasun4228 Год назад +280

Judge Dorow was the best judge for this case because she countered Darrell Brooks perfectly.
What some people don't understand is that Brooks was looking for a fight. He wanted her to blow up at him and match his energy so that he could taint the proceedings by manipulating the narrative and then eventually claim a mistrial. It was evident in how much he kept prodding her, that was textbook manipulation tactics used by abusers. They'll gaslight people by twisting their words and instigating them, and when they inevitably blow up they can immediately turn around and act like they're the victim and make it seem like you're at fault. He did that many times, not only to the judge, but to a few of the witnesses as well.
But Judge Dorow didn't play his game and instead did the absolute opposite, which was to continue to do things legally by the book and allow him to showcase his outbursts and tactics on the record in order to secure that there will be no possibility for him to gain an appeal. So those trying to claim that the judge was "weak" for not controlling him or telling him to shut up; she was being smart. She took the time to maintain an accurate record and then ultimately let him be his own worse enemy.
That is what was needed in this case. It's not about fighting a narcissist with control or logic, because you'll never win. It's about showcasing to others their own delusions and ultimately making their actions be what causes their own downfall. And that is exactly what Judge Dorow has done. So, well done.

Kind of hilarious to see him STILL trying to seek sympathy & thinking that anyone but complete nutters would care. He is such a narcissist he really thinks people would be shocked to know if he actually did have a shock device on his ankles. If it was true (not that I believe him) I think it’s an excellent idea for those who are cold-blooded murderers like him & those who are at risk of going off in the courtroom. Stun guns are used in normal law enforcement so totally reasonable for a similar unobtrusive device violent inmates who are in custody at trial. He probably didn’t have them but I bet one of the CO’s or bailiffs told him he did so that he’d think he couldn’t move too far. And tbh I think that is the only thing that prevented him from attacking the judge on the first day his vicious, malevolent, violent look of hate & murder contemplation came out in court, targeted at the judge. I think it was the day he told her that he was a grown man & nobody told him what to do. He was standing glaring at her & his body was rocking slightly like he was trying to judge whether he could reach her before he was stopped.

    ⏰️TIME STAMPS⏰️
*NOTE: I have shared the Courthouse address on my channel in my community post, for anyone interested in sending this amazing Judge, a thank you card/note!
    10:06 cameras on, then off
    18:32 on the record
    Unsealing search warrants
21:20 defendant given documentation to review
    22:03 defendant asks about document
24:30 Judge orders warrants unsealed effective next day
Judge addresses defendant making the comment in front of the jury about his ankle shock bracelets
29:30 defendant raising voice to Judge about "shock devices" he wore during trial to keep him restrained
31:50 break to move defendant to the other courtroom (this fool! He hasn't learned a thing! He doesn't respect anyone at all! I'm sure, in his mind, he's thinking he has nothing to lose. He's going to die in prison. He's never leaving prison to live in the outside world, after he's sentenced.)
    36:29 back on the record
Judge states for the record, about the move of courtrooms and the shackles used to keep the defendant restrained during trial
Judge stated she will have a Deputy testify before ending today
41:10 Judge asks state about timing for sentencing
State requests Nov 16, 2022, due to strong requests to have it done before the anniversary date of Nov 21.
46:05 defendant unmuted to speak to his timing issues
Defendant has court on Nov 17th, for both charges in Milwaukee County, 2pm.
Brooks says approximately 20 people will speak on his behalf at sentencing (is he nuts??? 20??? 🤨)
51:50 Judge states zoom is available for statements to be made
Judge states Nov 15 & 16, both set aside for this sentencing hearing
(Defendant is being super nice right now! He's wanting the sentencing date AFTER the anniversary, is what it sounds like to me! After he just heard the state requests! Not surprised! 🤬)
57:05 Judge schedules sentencing hearing for Tues Nov 15 at 8:30am and Wed 16 at 1pm.
Zoom attendees must be admitted and approved by noon on Nov 11 and won't be admitted to testify if name is not on list.
Brooks keeps talking as Judge calls Deputy Kibler to the stand. He's objecting to the date of the hearing.
1:01:40 Deputy Nicholas Kibler on the stand
Soft restraint used during trial, attached to ankles and table.
    No shock devices used
    1:04:30 state has questions
1:05:08 defendant asks questions for Deputy Kibler
1:09:35 Deputy is excused from the stand
    1:11:11 off the record
(So Brooks thought throughout the entire trial, that he had shock devices on his ankles! 🤣🤣🤣 I don't know why that's so funny to me, but it is! He probably never was told that and he's probably lying, per usual. But I just picture him starting to throw a tantrum and stopping cold in his tracks! 🤷🏽‍♀️⚖️💯)

Not ONE person showed up on his behalf during this entire trial…
    Not even His Mom…
And he said he would have at least 20 people speaking on his behalf…
I truly think he believes his own lies

Yes he did. He actually enjoys being able to try and cause those innocent victims and families more pain. I am SO happy the judge is at this part of the trial. He is a convict NOW. His “demands” do not matter. He just hasn’t realized it yet.
