Aye these guys were one of the only challenge this game offered me. I had never fought them before and a friend challenged me to fight them with no armour on my very first ever try almost died but got the job done and never fought them before or had any experience about them was a fun challenge though. Would I have had any experience with them and practiced I would have done it faster and cleaner.
Burning man and the crescent sharks are actually EXTREMELY Easy. 1. mine deposits for 8-9 gravel beetles. 2.combine gravel beetles and water in an alchemy set to make 24-27 cool potions. 3. Put on some master trading boots for movement speed. 4. get a chimaera pistol, and load it with frost bullet. 5. Apply a cool boon and make sure you have the potions fire/reload and frost bullet hotkeyed. When the fight starts, fire the chimaera pistol and all enemies. Then run to the opposite end of the arena, reload the gun, and drink a cool potion. Turn around, wait for the enemies to get close, and Fire the pistol again. Rinse and repeat running from one end of the arena to the next. With the crescent sharks you should start with either a horror pistol or an obsidian pistol, as the burning/exteme poison will keep them from regenerating health.
That's a great breakdown! Though I'd put the Troglodyte Queen a lot lower on difficulty scale - weapons like greatswords and polearms make a quick and easy work of the adds, while Queen herself is nothing to talk about. Definitely agree on Crescent Sharks though.
Replaying outward rn. Trying shaman, blood mage and primal ritualist. Good thing youtube recommended me this, going to try to go by this list. Also aiming for ghost reaper as my weapon, tho not sure how well that's going to work since it's a 0.9 halbert and i'm not using wind imbue.
Ritualist is VERY good against all these bosses. Just need insane stamina reductions and you'll be golden. Just wail away on both totems- damage will compound and the bosses will fall.
@@Comforts Thanks for the tip. Have yet to get or ever use the shaman abilities so looking forward to it (I picked blue chamber). Also, you make the dancer set look viable.
Even aside from the rankings, which as we know are subjective, this is brilliant. And I would put out there that the rankings are probably not far off as things go. Just to be able to see these and learn about them is so great. Thank you. :)
Thank you for the guide bro, i have just killed my first arena boss (Elite Beast Golem) it felt like a huge achievement :D, currenlty trying to make the trog spear for a spear build.
This is a cool video. I'm playing with some friends and its insane a few bodies changes difficulty. We did the sharks and it was easy since there is 3 of us and we just had 1 on each. Meanwhile calixa and the duo lightmender and plague fight MURDER us even with entomber on one of us. We havent even saw the crimson avatar let alone arena one...very good video.
An alternative title for this video is "Being a badass and killing all bosses with a dancer build". Thank you for this showcase, and congrats on the beautiful performances.
I have too much of a challenge with an Immaculate. ?By 2050 I may be ready to step into the ring with the forge master! Loved your content, keep it up .
@@Comforts No I have not, but I will say that my Primal Ritualist ways certainly made tackling the trio of Giants and the Trog Queen much more manageable -- striking that drum and seeing the sparks fly to like 5 or 6 enemies is bonkers. Brand caught me by surprise a couple times with that perfect strike though, and I seem to recall escaping from the Lightning Giant by the skin of my teeth (I came in blind, and hadn't prepped my resistances).
@@Comforts Tell that to the Brand Squire. My stealth was totally ignored, and he was on top of me before I could drop my chimes -- he really made me pay for that.
Huh. You should do videos of the style more often. A nice change up from just the play through clips. Hopefully I’ll actually get around to these end game bosses with D.E. I was always making new characters after the story; so much fun stuff to try 😅🤷♂️
Very nice video man, i first want to point out than the difficulty of the bosses highly varies depending on your build, which you mentioned a little. There is one thing i would disagree with you though. I really think the giant monk is way easier then any of the other bosses even the elite mantis shrimp but maybe its just me ;).
Thanks for your input. I was hoping this video would get some discussion going, because I know everyone's list would probably differ in some areas. Honestly, the bottom 5 or so could probably just be lumped together as 'the group of easiest bosses'- it's just kind of a crapshoot. And you're absolutely right- character build and gear plays a huge role in determining how difficult, or how easy, a particular fight will be. For instance, I had Light Mender/Plague Dr at number 5, but if you're rolling with the Entomber set, that alone would easily knock them out of the top 10, maybe even as low as 15. Elite Fire Man is another one- if you've got Petrified armor and boots, with Gold Lich Mask, you're pretty much untouchable in that arena, and the fight becomes trivial. BTW, I think your recent combat guides are probably the best out there right now. Very specific and detailed information- nice work.
@@Comforts thank you very much for the support! And yes for example the elite tuanosaur and elite burning man are super easy if you have 100% fire rez wich is easy to get ;)
Wow gj you did all those bosses on hardcore? I’m struggling with making my build and getting over the learning curb of the game but I’m having a lot of fun with it.
The Crescent Sharks are definitely a nightmare unless you're using shakrams, I found it pretty easy to deal with them with a shakram build, the Elite Crimson Avatar is another story, that guy is relentless, he hits very hard and has all sorts of attacks (laser, projectiles, mines, aoe attacks...), I think he's by far the strongest boss in the entire game.
Does the ranking change when playing a ritualist. I feel like always having ethereal/lightning dmg, barrier/protection and missile blocking at your hands can turn so many fights your way.
Ritualist is probably the best skill tree to have when facing these bosses. I think the sharks become a lot easier because you can pound the instruments without having to get into the mayhem.
@@Comforts Thanks for the reply. Bought Outward a couple weeks ago and have 90+ hours currently in it. Really enjoyed your Beginners Guide! Finished my faction quest today.
from the video I can make a conclusion that you're struggling with multiple enemies at once, because your weapon of choice was the shortest ranged melee, single targeting equipment.
Exactly this. I was thinking about those guys and also ??? Tsar Knight in starter island, but then I'm opening up a can of worms. Decided to limit it to Unknown Arenas.
@Yoterget123 I know you're very experienced with the game and have probably taken on all of these bosses. I'm curious to know what your top 5 would be as far as most difficult.
Except burning man (depending on the build, having 80-100% fire res or is either a cake or just not super hard, the boss is cake afterwards since they pretty much only deal fire and no physical) agree with everything. GJ!
Completely agree, those sharks are a pain, especially for glasscanons.
They're relentless I tell ya haha
