To celebrate you should do a playthrough series again. Good to see some signs of life on the channel.
Improved Combat: it looks like they've added some sort of parry mechanic, (the 2-weapon fighter and shield wielder appear to block/parry) two weapon fighting and more move-sets.
More Alive World: maybe they'll add some sort of deeper potential for RP. We have confirmed pack-mules, maybe you'll be able to take on some sort of "role," within the world. Such as being a trader, or caravan guard? Maybe the Blacksmith was a player-character? More ways to interacted with NPCs in general.
Very exciting stuff!

This is great news. I foresee a return to outward in my near future, when Enshrouded stops eating up my free time.
Enshrouded definitely surprised me. I REALLY didn't want to get it because I've never had success with Early Access titles, but the base building looked really good (and it is) so I gave it a shot. The game is a lot more full and polished than I was expecting. There are significant improvements that should be made, but overall it's been a fun world to explore.

I can't quite find the words to describe the feeling. Watching you watch this trailer made the whole thing click for me. It's honestly perfect. It's always kinda hard to explain to people what made me fall in love with Outward..there are so many elements and I never really even beat it. But it doesn't change that watching your tutorial through the first part of the game made me fall in love the Chersoneese Bay and thusly the game. The music, the vibes, the unique things the game goes for. It's honestly perfect. Can't wait for Outward 2 for myself but honestly can't wait for it for you, even more 😅🧡🤙
Outward has provided us with something so unique. It's definitely a difficult one to explain to those who just don't see it.

Loved your breakdown, you caught some really nice details! I would also like to point out the shovel one character was holding as a weapon - might open up some exciting possibilities for farming and treasure hunting!

I can't believe with all the outward vids I've watched, I haven't seen anything from you.
The algorithm is a mystery sometimes. If you like Outward, this channel may be right up your alley.
I knew about Outward 2 but I didn't hear about Lost in Prayer. I am a huge fan of traditional roguelike games so I am actually quite excited for that more than Outward 2. 😂Luckily I don't have to choose between them.
What's your best recommendation for a roguelike that I should play?- I'm sort of in the dark when it comes to that genre, but I'd like to familiarize myself with it.
@@Comforts If I had to pick one it would be Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, its free to play online, to download and its very 'classic roguelike.' It's a very niche type of genre with a steep unforgiving learning curve but hey, so is Outward.
Roguelikes as a genre have kind of gone the way of the RPG in a sense that many many modern games include 'roguelike' elements. But traditionally key features include: dying is permanent/resets your progress in some way and there is a certain amount of procedural generation/randomness that keeps each run unique and fresh.
If you want something more modern that isn't turn based I would also recommend Hades, its 25$ on steam but well worth the price.
We still don't fully realise how spoiled we are to get this sequel.
Honestly when i heard it was the same composer for the music, it lifted a big weight on me xD Now i know the game is in good hand.
+ Unreal engine = DLSS/DLAA alrady natively supported by the engine so no bad aliasing like in the first. Sooo many good news.
I'm right there with you. It feels like JFR just embodies Outward. The funny thing is, Racine may not even play the game at all. Gets me thinking.. We need Jean Francois Racine to upload some Outward Let's Play on his channel. The music will hit him just right, and all of a sudden his eyes close softly and his head starts moving rhythmically, full composer mode. His character proceeds to freeze to death in the Chersonese winter, and the musical ecstasy that he finds himself in ends quite abruptly.
