Awesome video. I grew up in Chicago during the entire MJ era. Quick short story: I use to be a massive sports fan but not a autograph type dude… so, as much as I idolized athletes I kept it in perspective. Anyway, I saw Jordan one day while working at NBC tower in Chicago. I was going to assistant with a broadcast… Mike walks out of the building. (It’s a lot to the story) but I literally froze staring at bro. He was like 3 ft from me waiting for his car to pull up. Several people on lunch/smoke breaks noticed him they asked for autographs. He signed all of them even waited for one guy to get a pen. MJ said something funny about waiting for him to get pen… I knew time had passed cause people i walked out with were damn near 3 blocks away when I snapped out of my daze. When A.I,Bron, etc say he looked like he floated… i understand.

My mom use to work at restaurant called Gladys Luncheonette in Chicago as a cook and Jordan came there to get food one time. His limo brought him through the back. My mom didn't have a baby sitter for me and my sister so we use to sit in the dining area until she got off. She came and got me and said I got a surprise for you. She brought me to the back and Jordan was standing by the back door. I cried. It was unbelievable!! He said don't cry lil guy. Is this your mom? I said yes sir. He said shes a great cook. Be good and work hard. He signed my basketball card and my mom walked me back to the dining area. Will never forget that day. 2 weeks later we walked in for my mom to start work and Scottie Pippen was just casually sitting at one of the booths eating by his self. The lady who was his waitress(my mom's friend) walked me to him to meet him. He spoke to me and asked if I had something for him to sign. I left my card book at home that day so he signed a napkin for me.

@@stoner2055 Don't be a douchebag, I was obviously just commenting on the experience of seeing someone set the standard in something by which all others are judged. What in your life have you ever accomplished at that level? Nothing I assume other than maybe smoking some really good weed at one point?
Facts my guy. Tell em. People forget. The people have forgotten. Especially the youngins of today, they just don't know man. But one day they gonna understand in 10-20 years when everyone starts forgetting about LeBron and crapping all over him, it's gonna happen to them too when the new younger generations come along, they'll start saying Luka or Giannis is the goat lol. MJ was literally the reason that they made the term/acronym "Goat." He's forever goated and is the goat of basketball. 6-0 in finals. LeBron 4-6. What you do on the biggest stage is what matters most. That and your rings. Most people rank the categories of importance like this in the goat debate. 1. Rings (MJ) 2. Awards/Accolades (MJ) 3. Peak (MJ) 4. Longevity (LeBron) 5. Regular season stats (LeBron). Not only does MJ win 3-2 in the 5 key categories for most people but he also wins the 3 most important categories while LeBron wins in the 2 least important categories for most fans. Not only that but MJ did it all in 5 less seasons. With an extra 5 seasons and not retirement during his prime in 92 then he probably wins 7-8 straight championships, finishes with around 41k-42k points, wins another 1-2 NBA MVP's, 1-2 more finals MVP's, few more all Defensive 1st teams. The gap between LeBron and MJ would basically be an entire Larry Bird sized career🤣🤣🤣. Instead the gap that seperates MJ and LeBron is basically a Kawhi Leonard sized career. And he's a top 15-17 player all time. So a top 15-20 player all time is what still seperates LeBron and MJ, not only is that an insane sized gap but MJ created that insane sized gap in 5 less seasons! 🤣. Technically 13 seasons since he injured his foot one year and only played 18 games that season, then only played like 17 games in another season when he returned to the game. So really, it was 13 full seasons. If you just count what he did in his Bulls years then he achieved more in 11 full seasons with the Bulls, then LeBron has achieved in 20 full seasons with 3 different franchises, 2 different super teams and 5 hall of famers. While MJ did it all with only 2 hall of famers. How people are even trying to act like it's a debate is a joke and is insane. Recency bias is nuts and all the young kiddo LeBron fans out there who are 10-25 years old and weren't even alive to watch MJ play have lost their minds and need to watch some full games of MJ's entire career to get a better understanding of what they missed, instead of just looking at MJ crying memes, watching the Last Dance documentary and watching a couple 2-3 minute RUclips highlights of MJ and then thinking their an expert on him and have seen enough and being like "I saw a 2-3 minute highlight video of MJ, I've seen all I need to see, LeBron da goat cause of regular season stats!" 🤣🤣🤣
@camc3992 if, if, and more ifs from MJ cucks. IF he was a real athlete and as good as LeBron, he'd have played as long and not ran away to baseball. 6-0 in the finals with 2 other HOF and all-NBA players. LeBron also never lost a finals with that kind of supporting cast. You old fucks love to talk about young kids not recognizing greatness, but it's you old heads stuck in your way and arrogance because you want to say "I watched the greatest and not you". Weird ass energy. MJ NEVER won anything without a so called "super team". He had to to beat Detroit. How convenient of you to ignore all the times he was swept and out the first round before getting saved by other all-NBA talent. LeBron had to beat Boston the same way, the only difference being LeBron was good enough to take a bunch of nobodies to the finals, MJ never carried a team to the finals. His ass was out in April without Pippen and Rodman. Get your head out your old ass and recognize greatness.

@@dewaynephillips823 Majorities of LBJ's highlights are clearpath lane drives overpowering weaker defenders and mostly coming off a screen in the halfcourt set. Add the threes to that lately, now that is Lebron on the halfcourt set. He improved a bit on the post because of his size, but not yet on the level of MJ and Olajuwon. Nothing in that requires him gaining more knowledge and wisdom, bc he was already informed and knew of these facts. You get what I'm saying?? Haha

Coming from the Philippines, I idolized and love MJ man, it inspired me to play basketball when I saw him play against Utah in the Finals in 1998, esp that Last Shot. mann it gave me goosebumps
People don't understand that when mj played it wasn't just every kid in Chicago that pretended to be mike on the playground or even every kid in the USA. IT was every kid in the WORLD. every kid in the world pretended to be mj when they played around on the court. Absolutely masterful editing job!
I'm glad I grew up and got to watch Jordan in his prime. I'm a die hard Piston fan going back to the bad boys. I hated Mike lol. But never denied his greatness. They're will never be another like him. Kobe was the next closest thing IMO. The younger generation will say Lebron is the goat and maybe it's debatable if u go by the numbers, but those of us that r a little older will always say it's Mike without question.
Top comment.
If you go by accomplishments MJ by far. He has LeBron and KD's career in 1. If you go by accomplishments. In less time!

Nick smith........ you put this video together wonderfully
Awesome video.
I grew up in Chicago during the entire MJ era.
Quick short story:
I use to be a massive sports fan but not a autograph type dude… so, as much as I idolized athletes I kept it in perspective.
When A.I,Bron, etc say he looked like he floated… i understand.
haha I love this!
Nah, Lebron James already beat Jordan as best ever and GOAT

The thing I am most proud of in this life is that I lived through the Jordan years and got to watch it from the beginning to the end, the inspiration he gave to everyone in that time and beyond can't be put into words.
Man I get it … had the best best best memories, but if that’s what your most proud of in life , I’d do some soul searching 😂

This is just a testament of how Goatish MJ really is
Facts my guy.
1. Rings (MJ)
2. Awards/Accolades (MJ)
3. Peak (MJ)
4. Longevity (LeBron)

As far as the debate goes on who's better, Lebron or M.J? M.J. just didn't want the ball in crunch time. He wanted be at the free throw line and you knew he was always going to make that final shot.
